Keys to Success in Your Home Based Business

It is so easy to lose focus when there is so much information available about the latest home based business fads. Finding a legitimate home business that works for you is an important element to success as you must have passion for your business. Find one that you love and stick with it, if others (not just the ones who started the company) are having results than so can you. This information applies to those who are in a business which requires calling leads and lead generation, especially multi level marketing and networking marketing. With that being said, here are a few KEY elements to making money and achieving financial freedom within YOUR home business, do these everyday and BE CONSISTENT:

1-Be Clear on Your WHY-this is where many people fail in home business. Your why MUST be strong enough to carry you through adversity and you will have adversity, home business is not a lottery ticket! Spend at LEAST 20 minutes twice a day meditating, visualizing and getting emotionally involved with your dreams. Feel yourself sleeping in while the kids are jumping on the bed in the morning, feel yourself driving that beautiful brand new car while seeing all the details, feel yourself on the beach relaxing on a luxury vacation, live your life in the brand new home you desire. Have goals and visualize achieving them, even if you don't achieve them it is not a reason to give up. You must set and re-set goals, continually write out your 30-60 and 90 day goals, keep them with you at all times.

2-Consistent Income Producing Activities-This does not mean reading about the latest marketing strategies or websurfing for other business! This means spending at least two hours a day calling leads, following up, placing ads. These are activities which are directly related to how much money you will be making at the end of the day! Most importantly, have people to talk to no matter what. If you are afraid of calling people get over it quickly because this is going to be the bulk of your business. Develop a posture of confidence and absolute belief in your business, if you don't believe in it, they won't. Period.

3-Working on Yourself- Personal Development and Self Improvement is the MOST IMPORTANT work to be done here, always be a student. If you have a negative mindset you are pushing people away from you, if you have a positive mindset you are attracting people to you, it's that simple and can make or break your success. When you have stumbling blocks work through them, the growth is the most rewarding part of the journey! You must change your thinking in order to change your results, there is no other way around it.

4-Masterminding-Most MLM's and Network Marketing Companies have training calls at various times throughout the week, be on those calls. It is important to continually sharpen your saw and follow what the leaders in your company are doing. If you can't make the live calls go back and listen to the recorded ones, this is pertinent to your success. In addition, continually network with successful people, remember you are who you associate with, if you want to be wealthy, associate with wealthy people, if you want to be poor, associate with poor people!

5-Expect Leadership!-Be a leader and others will follow. You will attract exactly what you are into your business so make sure you are being the kind of person you expect your associates to be. If you have not yet integrated the concept of being a leader into your business think of an area in your life where you have been a leader, notice how you act, notice your level of confidence, notice how people respond to you and visualize yourself being that person in your business. The more you act like a leader the sooner you will become one. Before you go out and talk to people ask yourself this question, "Would I follow me today?"

The number one most important variable in following these principles is consistency. Plan your days according to these principles and do them everyday. See yourself being the person you desire to be and with the combination of an unwavering vision, persistence and belief you WILL achieve your dreams.
