Have you ever seen the movie, “Pursuit of Happyness” starring Will Smith? It deals with a struggling salesman (Will Smith) who takes custody of his son (Jaden Smith) as he's poised to begin a life-changing professional endeavor. This movie is based on a true story and it is a perfect example of patience with a struggle to have a life changing income. Let’s change our wording from “I am struggling to get to the next level” to “I am striving to get to the next level.” The movie was a good way to note that a successful business can be accomplished through hardships of struggle. I like to be reminded of one of Dr. Ellie Drake’s lessons of ease as she stated, “Every morning I get up and have a choice, I choose to empty my backpack and move on, experiencing life with a lighter load. My willingness to choose a life of ease instead of a life of struggle will release the load that is no longer relevant to whom I am today. A commitment to ease, then, is my prescription for realizing a lofty dream.” Would you like to acquire enough patience to have a lighter load building a prosperous business from the Internet?

In order to begin your prosperous journey, your first step would be to evaluate where you are right now as oppose to where you have been and where you are going. If you are in Atlanta, and wanted to go to LA, it wouldn’t matter where you were yesterday or where you will be tomorrow, because you need to know where you are right now in order to make the first step forward on your journey. You could get stuck in the past looking back too often, and you could get in your now comfort zone, and never look forward. Your comfort zone could become disturbed after reading this headline that I read in my local news: “State retirement system crippled: Looming $16 billion shortfall threatens to tarnish the golden years of thousands of state employees. With fewer workers paying into the system, officials say benefits might need to be scaled back” (Salzer, 2007). This statement should be enough to reach for the stars as well as move toward learning how to produce a life changing income. The issues of supply and demand are probably the better responses for the truth behind the current cripple retirement system. If that statement didn’t turn your head then try this one:
