The quality of your life will depend on the quality of your questions and similarly the quality of your home-based business will depend on the quality of your questions. The following questions will not only help you choose the right company for your home-based business but also help you to do the right things.
1. Do you have an experienced management team? You must have an experienced management team that has good track record and are doing the right things for the business!

2. Are the products supported by science? Your proucts must have scientific support on its benefits and efficacy.

3. Do you have a simple, duplicatable and generous compensation plan? If you cannot understand or explain the compensation plan, don't do the business!

4. Do you have good offline and online support? You have many competitors and you have to be competitive to stay ahead in the business.

5. Are you front-loaded? Which means the compensation plan is designed in such a way that leaders are encouraged to ask you to buy much more than what you can consume or sell! This usually range from $1,500 to $15,000 and there are many ways to disguise front-loading!

6. With a reasonable amount of commitment, time and effort, can you make $300 to $1,000 or more a month? Many compensation plan burn up full-timers who put in a lot of time but just cannot see the money and that is why MLM got this acronym; Many Lost Money! In fact you cannot lose money when you join the right company where there is no front-loading, you just buy enough for your consumption.

7. Are you passionate about this home-based business? You must love the products and the business to do well in the business. If you are not passionate about the products or business, do something else!

8. Do you love helping people? Robert Kiyosaki wrote a book on network marketing and title it: The Business School for People Who Like Helping People. You must enjoy helping people to improve their health and financial situation.

9. Do you like meeting and talking to people? Some people are shy and do not like to meet or talk to people, they will do much better with an online business where they work from home without having to meet or talk to people!

10. Are you health conscious? Most of these home-based business are leveraging on the booming wellness industry which will be a trillion dollar business by 2010. It is difficult to promote a weight loss program if you are overweight and do not have the discipline to use the products and lose weight. You can't tell people to do what you are not willing to do!

11. Are you excited about the opportunity to leverage on thousands of people's efforts? Can you imagine yourself having an organization of 1,000 people and each ordering $200 worth of products a month! You will generate $200,000 sales volume a month and be paid $10,000 a month! (based on 5% commission).

12. If it takes you two to five years to earn $10,000 a month, will you do it? Ask yourself how long it took you working in a job to earn $5,000 a month and the responsibilities you have to bear to earn that monthly salary? How many hours you need to work a week to earn that $5,000 salary?

Most people are not in network marketing is because they don't understand it or nobody told them about it! Yes I know there are those that just cannot see it. Helen Keller said it so well: "There are none so blind as those that would not see." Having said that, please understand that network marketing or a home-based business is not for everyone. Some people just love to work for others and be a "worker bee" they have the employee mindset and if they are happy doing that it is only right to respect their decisions! Some people are better off working for others and will never do well in network marketing because it is a people business and you must have certain proficiency in communication skill and ability to build good relationship.

Don't make this common mistake of talking to people who have decided network marketing is not for them, it is like talking to a wall! Do a bit of qualification and you will save yourself a lot of time and effort!
