Are You Bold Enough

As I work from home and train others to become successful network marketing professionals I stress the importance of being bold with your prospects. It is important in network marketing that you don’t seem to present yourself as being someone who is reading from a pre-written script. It is equally important to be bold when you talk to others who want to start a home based business.

When you work at home and are building a business in network marketing you must talk to people. There is no way to get around that so you need to be bold when you pick up the phone. You need to face your fears and overcome them. You want to build a home based business but you are not bold enough to pick up the phone and connect with others so that is why most people fail at network marketing.

Being bold means to get over your insecurity and transcend to a place where you can feel confident enough to talk to people interested in working from home without the baggage you have collected in your past network marketing failures. You need to overcome the fact that not everyone is cut out to work from home. It takes discipline, focus and more importantly it takes time to grow a successful network marketing downline.

Being confident is something that must be projected over the phone and reading from a script word for word even worse sounding like you are reading a script is just plain unprofessional. Before you start any network marketing home based business you need to practice what you are going to say to your prospects.

You need to be bold and stay in control of the conversation by asking questions to your prospect. The more questions you ask them the more you will be in control of the conversation. As you gain confidence as you build your network marketing home based business you will become more bold in your actions and create more success working from home.

Then there are those who love to talk about their home based business and will bend the ear of their prospect. This is the kiss of death in any network marketing prospecting call because your posture is not what it needs to be. When you work from home in a home based business you have either all the time in the world or no time to do anything. Be bold when talking to prospects and let them know that your time is valuable. That you are looking for the right person to form a partnership with and you don’t have time to waste.

At the same time be sure to listen to your prospects as you build your network marketing downline. Experience will come when you listen to what the person is telling you and the reasons why they want to work from home. Be bold when you are qualifying your prospects by telling them that your company may not be a good fit for them and be bolder by telling them they may not even be qualified to go to the next step with you.

For what ever reasons you started your home based business there are hundreds of other reasons of why you are going to fail at it. Not being bold is one of those reasons and network marketing is about being bold. So are you bold enough?

The ultimate statement of being bold is when you go for the closing question. How many people working from home in their network marketing company never ask the prospect if they are ready to get started? Be bold tell them “Let’s sign you up and get your business started”. Don’t be wishy-washy with your prospects. Let them know you mean business. Be bold in your home business and you will have network marketing success.
