In reality, this is not so much a secret but more of a commonsense approach to achieving success. Think back to when you were first introduced to your network marketing business opportunity.

What was it that attracted you to this particular opportunity? Don't think about your desire to make tons of money. What else was it that attracted you? Chances are that what attracted you was the marketing strategy that your sponsor used.

Network marketing success comes from hard work and determination. Network marketing offers great opportunities if you're willing to work hard and keep at it until you're successful. You must stick to the system in order to succeed.

Stick To The System

It is extremely important that you stick to the system. Once you are attracted to your opportunity by one marketing strategy, don't then jump into buying leads or cold calling.

Success is based on building relationships with people and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor, not a salesman pitching products. Chances are that what attracted you to your opportunity was the relationship you had with your sponsor. You had a trusting relationship with your sponsor, so when she recommended this opportunity, you gladly followed it.

Many people that are new to this system of relationship marketing don't realize that you can use this strategy to bring in targeted and pre-sold prospects. People don't like to be sold, like in cold calling.

People prefer to buy from someone they trust. No sale ever takes place without trust. The trust comes through developing a relationship with your prospects first.

Relationship Building

The key to network marketing success is primarily dependent upon finding potential prospects and then developing relationships with them. The trust-building relationship starts when you offer them something valuable for free.

The most valuable thing you can offer to potential prospects is information. Most people are starved for good quality information.

Choose your target market. If you're targeting business builders, then teach your prospects how to build a home business.

This educational marketing is what builds the relationship. And once you have built a relationship and established yourself as a trusted advisor, then your prospects are more likely to buy products or services that you recommend. This is the essence of relationship marketing.

Once the prospect has joined your opportunity, the relationship building process doesn't end. The most successful distributors in the industry have massive downlines and can play a numbers game.

These top distributors have an extremely high level of financial security so if they lose people in their downline, it doesn't have much financial impact. Their downlines are so large that any attrition can easily be replaced the following month.

Attrition is undesirable. The way to reduce attrition in your downline is to maintain that relationship you built with your prospects in the beginning.

The ways to maintain relationships with your downline are to send out regular newsletters, send them postcards and to hold conference calls where they can access you and ask you questions. Network Marketing Success is built and maintained through relationship marketing.
