Network marketers place these ads because they want their marketing to result in business leads and sales. The messages in these ads do actually generate calls and leads, but not typically quality leads, that will build long-term success. These ads feed off of an unhealthy greed.

Most responding to these ads are looking for the quick-fix promised in the ads. They are not looking to develop a long-term business and they do not have what it takes to make it as an entrepreneur. No time, no money, and no energy to invest into a venture.

Like most they have a lottery mentality and they are looking for the next get rich quick scheme to give them huge success in a very short period of time. The less they have to learn, and the less time it takes the better. They want big success without really having to learn the business or apply themselves.

Based on the hype, these new prospects usually seem very eager and determined at first. But the dedication and enthusiasm quickly die down as the new business owner finds out that network marketing is in fact work. Most prospects come in on an emotional high, but quickly develop a disappointment hangover when things don't work out right away.

I don’t like to use hype words like “Rich” and “Wealthy”. They are more often than not, used in the connotation of greed. My intent is not to promote business and success for greed, but to better your life and provide financial and person growth through opportunity. I hope that I do not communicate business for greed. The Bible doesn’t say that money is the root of all evil, it says the “the LOVE of money is the root of all kinds of evil”.

The accumulation of wealth in itself is meaningless. However, having money, or even a degree of wealth, can provide you with many opportunities, and more personal freedoms to make choices on how you will decide to live your life.

To be among the best in the internet or network marketing industry you need to develop a mental toughness with a long-term focus. No matter what happens with your business, you take on the good and the bad in the same way, and they both will come. Otherwise your journey will be like a ride on and emotional roller coaster.
