Shifting Your Mindset to Revolutionize your Work from Home Business Success

As a former traditional business owner and now person who operates a work from home business; I'm a big fan of the power of the right mindset.

That’s because there are mindsets that generate much higher results than what people traditionally experience. This means you are working smarter instead of harder and your income can often multiply as a result!
.
The two key principals that can make that happen are what we will refer to as Leverage and Optimization

I would like offer a very basic overview of the two principals and then include some examples which will likely be more useful to the reader.

Adopting a habitual mindset that includes Leverage and Optimization are all about getting the most out of all my resources with the same (or less) investment of time, effort, money, etc.

Leverage:
Few things offer more powerful Leverage than a person's perspective (also known as your paradigm). Leverage is available in many different forms. From simple things we use daily such as commuting by car because it ‘leverages’ our time over using a bike.

Many other forms of leverage are not so well known and most people fail to tap into them. For example: most people are not aware of the huge tax advantages even the part-time home business person gets which saves them thousands of dollars every year on their taxes.

Here are a couple of simple examples of the type of the mindset that can quickly accelerate you a whole new level of success:
There are no failures – only feedback. Imagine never seeing a mistake or a 'failure' as something to feel bad about; rather simply as feedback to be used to start again – better prepared to succeed.
I revere my abilities, knowledge, and level of service and their is no need to work with anyone who doesn't recognize it and gladly compensate me for it.
My goal is to leave every person better off mentally and emotionally each time we meet.
You (your prospect) may not be doing business with me today – but it's just a matter of time.
Take a few minutes to imagine what your work from home business would be like by adopting one or more of these mindsets.

'Failures' would actually empower you now because you know you are making progress. You would then be willing to accelerate your progress because failure has lost its sting and instead offers rewards!

Revering yourself would free you from the difficult people who are overly demanding, demeaning, and time wasters. This allows you to invest more with the people you enjoy working with – people who refer additional clients to you.

Approaching every person you encounter with that 'open embrace' intention to make their day a brighter one will often break down those invisible walls that keep people from building positive and productive relationships.

Believing every prospect will eventually be your client allows you to exude a level of confidence and posture that would be magnetic

Embodying a new paradigm usually takes some time and attention –but the rewards can be staggering!
Ongoing inspiration to take action - compared to having to artificially get your self motivated.
A deep sense of satisfaction and sense of  confidence
Being seen as a leader – someone with charisma
Being paid what you are worth rather than what that 'position' regularly pays.
Optimization:
When I was a kid it seemed all the junky trinkets I ever saw were labeled, "Made in Japan'. At that time 'Made in Japan' meant it was cheap. My sister owned an early Honda - and it literally rusted to the ground.

Ever wonder how they went from that state of affairs to dominating the world with high quality products like they do today?

Dr W. Edwards Deming was an American engineer who was sent to Japan after the Second World War to help them resurrect their economy. He was responsible for teaching the Japanese companies that every process involved with building something could be examined, measured, and most importantly - improved upon.

Constant testing and evaluation lead to processes that multiplied their effectiveness. This is the optimization process and it can become a habitual way of thinking in your business.

It resulted in producing better and better products at lower and lower cost. Within a short time Japan went from manufacturing trinkets to owning the automobile and electronics market like they do today.
Marketing legend Jay Abraham adopted the testing and evaluation methods he learned from Dr Deming and applied it to marketing. He would test five different headlines and discover that one of them generated a 500% better response rate.

The point is he made a small change that cost little or no money to implement and ended up with far superior results. You can do the same thing in your work from home business.

Test and measure everything: Your marketing methods, your sales process, your prospecting script, your team building methods. Examine how your competitors do their business and how people in other industries do theirs.

Embrace the mindset that there is always a better way of doing anything – and it will provide rich rewards in your work from home business for the effort.
