The Decision That WILL Change the Course of Your Life

All of your success or lack of success comes from your ability to make decisions. However, I’ve found that many people really can’t make decisions. Decision-making skills are really not taught in regular classrooms in school systems. I know because I worked as a school counselor and I was the only person that taught these skills. Because of my extreme workload of working campuses with over 1100 students I very seldom actually had time to go into the classrooms for guidance lessons so, these type of skills were only heard by students occasionally and not often enough.   

The first decision you make everyday is when the alarm clock goes off. How do you feel when you get out of bed on a Monday morning? Are you eager to return to work? Or do you groan as your alarm clock goes off and your feet hit the floor?   Do you feel dread in the pit of your stomach at the thought of another workday?
I’ve read that approximately 85% of the population hate their jobs and are dissatisfied with it.

Your success in life begins by you having a vision in your mind of how you would like your life to look and you actually have dreams about living the kind of lives of the ‘rich and famous’. However, if you’re like most people you’ve given up on your dreams and don’t think they’re possible until someone introduces you to “a home-based business”! 

Your passion and your desire for a “better future” reveal clues about your life purpose. Your life purpose should be your reason for getting up in the morning which gives your life meaning. Your unique gifts and skills should be used for a purpose. You were given everything you needed at birth to be the amazing person you were meant to be. You just have to listen to what you already know about yourself and define your life purpose and connect to who you are with what you desire for your future.

James Ray, author in the movie “The Secret” says this about desire: 
“Your desire is your higher self that is calling you to ‘go for it’. You don’t get a desire for something you don’t have the capability to achieve. This is what you’re being called to do. You have the possibility and probability of getting it if you’re committed to making your dreams happen”!

When most of us made the decision to enter the world of a home-based business as entrepreneurs we had a desire for a “better life” and “better finances”. People start a home-based business or make a decision to start creating“success online” because they see it as a vehicle for getting what they desire in life. People get started because they are dissatisfied with many areas in their personal and professional lives and want financial freedom. You probably want more for your life and the lives of your family. 

Some of the reasons why people get started in a home business are because they want “more” choices and opportunities for “changing the course of their life” because are dissatisfied with some aspects of their lives and want “more” of the following:

Career Fulfillment
Job Dissatisfaction
Debt Reduction
More Family Time
Time Freedom
Financial Freedom
Better Health
Retirement
Savings
Social Life/More Time to Play Golf J

Tax Savings
Work Security
Are Tired of Commuting
Want to Stay Home With Their Children
Want to Travel
Want to Create Wealth 
Many success stories in the home-business industry started because people had a desire for a higher quality of life. Each of these reasons can be your motivation to learn to be successful and experience business success. However, it will require a change in your mindset, some changes in your habits, behaviors, and lots of personal growth and development. How successful you end up becoming depends on how persistent you are, how motivated you are in “changing the course of your life, and how much desire YOU have to succeed. In my opinion, the depth of your “DESIRE” will determine whether or not you succeed.
