The Truth About Owning A Home Based Business:

When people think about working from home, sometime they get the wrong idea. When you tell people you are working from home or you have a Home Based Business, they think “Great”. Now you have time to talk to me all day on the phone and you have time to shop three times a week and have long leisurely lunches. If there is anything that needs to be done, errands to run, special event to prepare for, “YOU” have the time to do it. After all, you are not doing anything anyway; you have a Home Based Business. They don’t realize that Business is the operative word. If you have a Home Based Business and you “work” from home, the work has to be done at home the same way as the work has to be done if you work on a (Just Over Broke) job. When you are working you must be focused and productive to be successful regardless to whether you are working at home or outside of the home.

Home Based Business owners, who are established in their Business, have the luxury to take extra time to have more fun and spend more time with their families and friends. Those Home Based Business owners have earned these privileges by making the calls, meeting the people to partner with them and doing the work that is necessary to create a successful Home Based Business. Now they have more time, more money, larger homes, nicer cars, help more charities, their children can go to better school and they have developed. They have more choices because of their focus, productivity and ultimate success.

For those of you who are just getting started or thinking about getting started in a Home Based Business, there are a few things you need know. Working from home is not glamorous (not at first). Before you make the money, get invited to speak or train other, get the recognition from your peers, you have to profit in your business. To have profit in your business is easy, just identify the people in your business who are achieving the success you want and do what they are doing, model them. If you do what they do long enough you will succeed. However, to succeed you have to do the work. To be successful in a Home Based Business requires more than a wish or a hope. Being success requires all the thing that the successful people in your company to get where they are. I have three millionaire I admire and model. Each one, when you listen to their stories, will tell you that they made call after call to connect with new people to find the right ones to partner with. All of us in Home Based Business know that family and friends run out quickly. The millionaires, all made appointment with people that did not show up. And they all partnered with people who decided this was not for them. The thing they all had in common (they all have different Home Based Businesses) was that they were committed to make their Business work. They believed in their chosen Business and in themselves. They were persistent and worked their business like a business. It was not a hobby for them; it was the mortgage payment, the visa payment and the car pay. Getting a weekly check was non negotiable.

Be serious about your business. It is your future and the future of your family. Success is not achieved by chance it is achieved by choice. The choices you make now will affect the rest of your life. Working a Home Based Business is not easy but it is well worth the rewards. For me, I did not have to drive in traffic any longer, I did not have to take orders from someone less knowledgeable about my job than I am but makes almost twice the money and does none of the work. I control my vacation and do not beg just to get a day off any more. I do not have to struggle any more just to get by. There is no more worry about debt or money to do what I wanted or what the family needs. It is great to come and go as I please. Life is sweet.

Working a Home Based Business is a serious venture. For a small financial investment and the investment of your time, it could pay you a thousand times more. If you think you have what it takes, it could be the best decision you will ever make. It takes courage, belief, perseverance and some hard work (up front) to be successful. However, working a Home Based Business can be the most rewarding, self-fulfilling, self-developing, financially sound undertaking of your life. It will change your life; you will never be the same person again. Deciding to start a Home Based Business could change your life, the lives of your family and generations to come.
