1. NEVER pay to become a member of a survey site. The legitimate ones do not charge, they pay you, not the other way around, you are doing them a favor by submitting consumer opinions which in turn serves their clients.

2. Beware of websites that offer you to make thousands a month by selling you "access" or lists of survey sites. This is a scam as well, all legitimate survey sites are available for free and there is no reason to pay for any list, and those that charge are just taking your money for nothing.

3. Be sure to enter truthful honest information when answering survey questions, and that they match your original profile information. If you make things up just to complete the survey and get paid to take the survey they will cancel your account.

4. Make sure to check out the rewards program for survey sites. Some pay cash and some pay with gift cards and merchandise.

5. Make sure you add the companies email extension information to your white list/email contacts so that survey invitations sent to you do not get put in your bulk or spam folder and you miss the opportunity to get paid to take the online survey.

There are legitimate market research companies who offer paid surveys to consumers for their opinions, and those opinions shape the market on a variety of topics from groceries to automobiles, medical research, testing new advertising and lots more. These survey opportunities are the easiest, and quickest ways to make money from home and earn some extra cash.
