Hosting a teleseminar is another affordable way to recession proof your business and expand your reach of influence. Just like podcast you can easily monetize, grow your list and repurpose your efforts.

Teleseminars are super simple to do and run. Callers call into a bridge line and you can record the call to repurpose. This method of marketing is one of the easiest to get started with, if you are looking to break into information marketing.

It is easy to speak for most than to write, which makes it easier for you to get your point across. Also speaking leaves little left to interpret on what type of emotion there is versus an ebook where your intention could be misunderstood.

Many of us do a lot of speaking in our jobs, businesses and lives in general. Speaking for most is pretty natural. If you have stage fright, no worries your audience cannot see you!

Here are 9 steps to profitable teleseminar success:

1. Pick a topic. Consider your niche and target audience. What questions and problems can you solve for them? What benefits do your products/services offer? Keeping this in mind will help you pick your topic.

2. Outline your topic. You could write it out word for word but honestly do not waste your time. If you try to read something word for word you will sound unnatural and be more prone to stumbling over your words. Create an outline in bullet point form of the main things you want to cover. This will allow you to be more natural in your speaking.

3. Host and record. There are many free teleseminar services like TalkShoe.com, FreeConferencePro.com, HandsFreeTeleseminars.com, or InstantConference.com. Each service has a way for you to record, make sure to do a test run on the service you choose. There are also affordable solutions for larger audiences over 200. Invite your list and market your event.

4. Send out the recording. After you are done recording and made any edits you wanted, then get the audio out to all of those that attended.

5. Get it transcribed. You can either transcribe it yourself, purchase software that will do it for you or outsource it to a professional transcriber. By converting the audio to a PDF you can now give it to the attendees and/or sell it as a package with the audio or give the report away to build your list.

6. Create an opt-in page. The opt-in page will highlight the benefits of getting your info product. You will either sell the transcript or give it away to build a list. Then you can use the audio as an upsell or just package it all together. You can also have everything in digital format or create a physical product or give away the digital and use the physical version as an upsell. Then market your capture page and notify your list.

7. Repurpose your teleseminar. Always think about how you can repurpose your efforts. This will not only give you more web presence, build your list faster... It will also save you time and make you more money. Redistribute the audio as a podcast and submit to podcast directories. Take the transcript and break it up into an autoresponder series. Create articles, blog posts, press releases and e-courses from the content. Combine the audio and text to make a video or take the audio and create a slideshow presentation for the video instead of using the text and distribute on the major video networks. Then take all of the above and use social bookmarking and social marketing to get more exposure.

8. Just repeat. As you go through the process you will become more efficient at it and come up with even more ways to monetize on your efforts. Create a set schedule of dates and times you will do calls. Send out surveys to your attendees to know what they want to know more about and enjoyed as well as how you can improve. Also pay attention to questions being asked often as these are areas you can target.

9. Repurpose more. You can easily take several calls and make them into an ebook, a high-end product, coaching program, home study course, or use as the outline for a live event.

The important thing is to get out there and get going. Do your best to get through all the steps; however you may not your first few times and that is okay. You will eventually master all 9 steps with ease. You will grow your business by leaps and bounds using teleseminars in your marketing arsenal.
