Discover A System That's Strong Enough For A Guru But Made For A Newbie!
How do you discover a system thats strong enough for a guru but made for a newbie? Well its been hammered home for a reason... youve heard about it from your upline and Im certain that youve heard about it before elsewhere.
It proves either effective or ineffective. When effective it can drastically lower the rejection ratio of your fledgling home based business and thankfully it can rescue you from the sobering thought of having to prospect ANYBODY moving within 6 feet of you... like youre upline tells you to do. Did I say rescue you? Yes! Since the purpose of this article isnt to keep you in suspense heres what Im referring to.
The proper Lead Generation System, a seemingly all too familiar but misunderstood concept these days. Now, to be clear, the Websters New World College Dictionary defines a system as being: an established way of doing something; method; procedure. Therefore the approach that youre taking on a daily basis to your business falls into the category of a system. Which brings me to a point, if youre currently using a system with little to no success then perhaps the system youre employing isnt the right one for you.
For example, if your upline says that buying leads from their trusted lead source and cold calling them works but youre not seeing any resulting proof from your consistent efforts then theres a challenge. Ah hello!
The challenge may be that you havent been properly trained on cold-calling or perhaps maybe your phone scripts are outdated or youre not infusing enough of your OWN personality into those scripts see I could go on and on but the point is this.
In a nutshell buying leads and cold calling them is just one method however, not the only method available for achieving success. The real question in this scenario would be can YOU build a sustaining business model with this and share it with others to duplicate?
Perhaps its possible but heres another question that begs to be answered, do you ENJOY this method enough to adopt it as your own systematic way of doing business? Notice I said systematic way of doing business?
If you do enjoy buying leads and cold-calling people then become the best at it and learn every technique you can about cold-calling to add value to your team. Theyre going to need all the expertise on cold-calling they can get since you would primarily promote it as a means to achieving goals and having long term success.
As a side note I suggest if you havent already, getting materials by Todd Falcone or Wendy Weiss if thats the foundation you would like to build your business on. For some additional cold-calling resources you can Google the keywords cold calling resources.
Statistically speaking though, if youre like most people I know you wont want to exert any energy into even thinking about how you can master cold-calling! Remember this, whatever youre doing or not doing everyday in your business is YOUR system so you might as well DECIDE what steps you want to take to succeed in it.
I just want you to OWN whatever it is youre doing because its your business therefore, technically you already do. Also, I think we both can agree that people do not join your opportunity; they join you in your opportunity! Thats why its my humble opinion if you cant offer something to others that has the potential to generate TARGETED leads and customers consistently then youre playing not to lose instead of playing to win.
Great! Weve just clarified in my opinion one component of doing business and obviously there are a ton of others you may want to explore at another time. However, for this article we wont do that because were not going to cover business building piece by piece here. Instead lets get back on track so we can get clear on what a good Lead Generation System consists of and why you should consider having one.
So now Im going to cover in my opinion just two things you need to be aware of and focus on when youre looking for the right Lead Generation System to implement.
They are: Affordability and Accessibility. These two factors as simple as they are can frustrate a lot of people and keep them and their dreams on the sideline. Ill explain these two factors a little more in detail.
Affordability - very important - most would agree that a system has to be something that they could provide their team members without them having to break the bank to use. I base this on consideration of the fact that the average networker works their business part time. Leverage is key here.
The understated truth in this economy is that there are numerous opportunities to increase sales and bring on new business partners but for the average networker with little to no support, building their business on a budget is not only quite necessary these days but wise.
I happen to believe in commitment and sacrifice but I don't believe someone or their familys piece of mind should be comprimised over a money making opportunity. Success is not a race and one can and will succeed if they only take consistent appropriate action. Telling you that somehow reminds of the saying that Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity.
Accessibility the second factor - is equally important - most would agree again that having access to the latest in lead generation techniques, training and tools for them and their organization would be ideal for personal growth and team building.
I base accessibilty on the fact that one of the reasons most people give up on their business is because they lack sufficient training or available tools. Lets face it, if you started a new job tomorrow and you received little to no training and you werent having any success in what you were supposed to be doing, heck you werent even sure what you were supposed to be doing AND you werent making any money either after all of this confusion... well thats what happens a lot in the Network Marketing industry and it may explain the high attrition rate.
Fundamentally we dont know what we dont know and the difference between success and struggle in this business is the right knowledge. That's why Id like to applaud you! Congratulations you now hold the recipe for how to create a thriving business because you now know the key ingredients that make up a solid Lead Generating System!
Its pretty straight forward right? You know it has to be affordable for the average person, easy enough to implement, the tools and training have to be accessible, and it must have excellent support.
Give additional kudos if you can brand the system with your name or promote your opportunity through it easily and virally. All that is needed is for you to control it through action.
Where the misunderstanding comes in for many promising networkers is here: Consistent action doesn't always translate into profitable results. Its not just what you do but how you do it. There are many actors and actresses in the world but how many of them are world famous?
The fact is people dont want to run around in circles, people want results and the sooner you can help others achieve those results the stronger, bigger and faster your business will grow. Thats why you should consider having a system that can work even if you arent the creator of that system. You may even decide you want to tailor it to your opportunity, personality or organization.
Here are some creators of Lead Generation Systems many are using with success: Deagan Smith, Mike Dillard, Randy Gage, Dale Calvert, Jerry Clark, Tim Sales, Todd Falcone, Joe Schroeder, Mike Dloughy, Doug Firebaugh, Barry Donalson, C. Anthony Harris and many others!
Here are a few examples of systems that may be good but tend to exclude the average networker because of affordability: networxonline, automatedprospecting and mlmbuilder. In my opinion until your business turns a profit it may be prudent to explore affordable and accessible systems that can give you and your team every chance for success through simplification and duplication. My sincere hope is that this article has provided food for thought and that you're able to find a system that works!
