Installing a Sliding Rear Window

5. Lift the window out of the frame. Wear gloves to protect your hands in the procedure. Next, remove the old sealant. Prep the window by cleaning the frame with alcohol.

6. Press the brand new weather sealant to the window area. Take off the paper backing. Clean the new window with a glue remover and then with rubbing alcohol.

7. This is the time when you should position the new sliding rear window in place. Make sure studs line up correctly with the pinch-weld holes. The window should be secured with original hardware.

8. Lastly, reverse earlier procedure for the reinstallation of the seats, seatbelts and trims.
