Hi Tina,

Great bit of PR for your Company. If you are going to compare Gas and Gel fires apart from all the flowery stuff you should also include some important technical information. At least your customers can then make an informed decision.

You say "This is the future of flueless fires. Advanced, patented technology providing all of the advantages of an open fire with no of the disadvantages" - I can think of quite a few.

I especially like the "Do it Yourself" line - what about combustable materials, soft furnishings, hearths, guards etc? No mention of this very important safety information.

I would have included:

The Approval Status? Gas fires are tested to strict CE regulations - What regulations are these gel fires tested to?

The Running Costs? A 2.7Kw Gas Fire will cost about 8p/hour to heat a room - a gel fire of the same heat output will cost up to 20x more to give the same heat. I would say thats an important factor for customers who are wanting to save cost?

The Safety Features? Gas fires have safety devices to shut them down. What do these Gel Fires have? What about storing gel in your home? What happens if it is spilt?

The Practicality? Gas fires are easy to operate - switch on/off etc, with a gel fire you have to manually fill and light the tray.

What about all the moisture given off by the gel? Let us know what tests you have done, what ventilation is required in the room and if dampness will be a concern?
