Is The Iphone All As It Seems?

Finally, the wait is over, and now you can buy your iPhone. But wait, is it really worth the buy? Is it something that everyone knows can work out well or is it just another high-tech hype? Let’s find out more about the iPhone.

The iPhone is relatively new and is yet another digital icon. It has the typical music and video features found in an iPod. But the exciting part is of course the iPhone’s additional features. It’s music and video features are combined with the communications capabilities of a smartphone. How genius is that? Well the question that everyone has on their mind is if the iPhone is really worth the money.

First, let’s get a closer look at the popular iPhone. The sophisticated device carries a sleek design and it is just 11.6 millimeters thick. Unlike most other cell phones (or all), the iPhone is almost free of buttons! If you own one of those iPods with large screens, get ready for this: iPhones have a 3.5 inch screen, which could be even larger than the screen on your iPod.

A touch-sensitive screen in the iPhones replaces the scroll wheel typically found in iPods. All you need to do is tap your fingers a few times on the screen. This makes it so much easier to navigate through song collections as well as make calls. A virtual keyboard appears on the screen and you can use that to make calls or compose emails.

So what’s so great about iPhones? Sure, you probably know they are great because it’s what everyone has been talking about the past year. But let’s take a look at exactly why they are awesome devices. One of the best things about the iPhone is that it is actually smaller than you think. Plus it has a lot of style. Just because it is a “smart” device doesn’t mean it is chunky and plain unsightly. It is surprisingly pretty in appearance. If you’ve noticed, many smartphones out there function well but don’t particularly look good.

At 11.6 millimeters, iPhones are much thinner compared to the thickness of a typical smartphone, which could reach 12 millimeters! Not to mention, iPhones are just 4.5 inches in height and 2.4 inches wide. Other smartphones have yet to rival these dimensions, which may have dimensions that stand at least 2 millimeters higher.

Because of the iPhone’s somewhat miniature size (when compared to other similar devices), you can easily slip your iPhone into your pocket without worrying about a bulky appearance.

Because the iPhone doesn’t really have a lot of buttons, you get much more room for the screen. It is therefore especially a delight to watch videos on the device. We all want a convenience size for our devices but a bigger experience! One thing you’ll absolutely love is the digital keyboard. With this you can be sure to avoid “misses” when hitting on a particular key. For instance, if you want to tap on the letter “R”, you’re most likely to get an “R” instead of a “T”. In conclusion, just because you get a digital keyboard doesn’t mean you won’t get accurate input.

Most smartphones sacrifice the resolution of their screens due to slip keyboards and fixed pads. This has been the same old problem with typical smartphones—there has got to be room for the alphabet. With the iPhone there is just one button to press. The rest is concentrated on the screen. It is 3.5 inches wide and has an impressive resolution of 320 x 480 pixels.

Yes, everyone knows the iPhone costs a lot. However, users are still able to save a lot on family plans. With the iPhone you don’t actually have to worry too much about service fees, since its plans are really quite reasonable based on the current pricing scheme of AT&T.
