In nearly all instances the problem lies in your PC registry. All Windows operated computers have a registry. The registry is a database of information used by the Windows operating system to run the computer and programs.
Every time you use the computer information is stored in it's registry. Over a period of time the registry will build up a lot of unwanted data which can take up a lot of room. Much of this data is out of date and no longer of any use.
There will be fragments of programs which were never uninstalled properly and various parts of programs which you may have attempted to install, without any success, at some time in the past. All good registry cleaner programs will first backup your registry so that it can be restored if this becomes necessary.
