Ericsson Cellphones; Quality Phones For Those That Want High Performance!

Obviously with the way technology is nowadays you can buy just about anything and almost expect it to run like a Ferrari. A lot of people like the bells and the whistles that cell phones bring to the table. They like choices, superiority, options, and extras. If you want a boring phone, then an Ericsson definitely is not the phone for you.

Ericsson (developed by Sony) is one of the most popular phones out there because of its "awesomeness" and quality. Not only is this the type of phone that makes you drool just by looking at it, but it works fantastically well. This is a phone that you can depend on especially with its 9 hour talk time and 380 hours standby on GSM!

There are quite a few Ericssons you can look at - the newest one being the Sony C905 Quad Band GSM Cyber-shot Cell Phone with GPS and Bluetooth. So lets take a look at a few of these phones and see if we cant pique your interest!

Sony C905 Quad Band GSM Cyber-shot Cell Phone with GPS and Bluetooth (also known as the james Bond Edition) -
Sony has always been a company to innovate, instead of follow the market trends. Their cybershot phones have incorporated digital camera features in the body of a phone, with outstanding results. The C905 body is smooth and sleek with button layout intended to speed up the process of accessing applications. The slide mechanism has a dual-purpose. It reveals the powerful camera on the back and the keypad on the front.

At 136 grams this phone is very light considering all the technology it houses. There is an accelerometer sensor that auto-rotates depending on the direction the phone is pointing. The screen size is a spacious 2.4 inches long which gives you ample room to view the photos you take. There is a Memory Stick Micro card slot which lets you store Gigabytes of memory.

This is a very important feature for the phone to have, because most likely you will be taking photos in the highest quality meaning that they take up more storage space. The highlight of the phone is the 8 Megapixel Camera that takes picture in an outstanding 3264x2448 resolution.

With autofocus, image stabilizer, and a xenon flash, the pictures that you take will not look better in any other phone. The video records at QVGA quality with 30fps. The 3G connectivity and a talk-time of 9 hours means that is the perfect solution for someone who wants a great cell phone and a digital camera all-in-one.

Sony Ericsson C902 -
Sony definitely upped the ante with the C902 which has a compact body, but houses a phenomenal camera that will perfectly capture those priceless moments. The attractive red and black case is eye-catching and in line with the latest style.

The whole length is 2 inches tall which is the perfect size for slipping into your pocket. The TFT display screen has a clear QVGA resolution and is surrounded by touch-screen buttons that light up. The camera is the focal point of this phone, and its 5 Mega-pixel camera doesn't disappoint.

Not only is it a stable camera that produces colors in great quality, but the features it has are very useful. Face detection, image and face detection, auto-rotate, and LED are all included to make the picture taking procedure easier. This phone certainly doesn't lack in the multimedia department since there is a Megabass equalizer, a tv out, and an FM radio.

There is a Bluetooth option so you can listen to music or make calls through a headset. This is a quad-band phone that supports EDGE so that you can download multimedia at a very fast rate. Finally, there is a place for a memory card, but the C902 does have 160mb of internal memory.

Sony Ericsson T700 RED -
The Sony T700 is a real reason to celebrate. Imagine this: a phone that feels equally comfortable in an office as it does at a party. Now imagine that, the same cell phone is in your possession. Now nothing can stop you.

This slim phone is made with a premium metal finish that will draw attention in equal amounts, no matter the situation. In the office it will make people green with envy that they aren't able to strut around with as much fashion, and at a party people will admire your ability to pull off such an elegant move.

The 3.2 Megapixel camera is perfect for snapping pictures on the go and pulls double-duty. For work it is great for taking pictures of various projects. So when you and the other staff members are reviewing a planned model of a new urban development and you would like to have a picture of the model to take home, just whip out the camera and take a snapshot of it, and voila, you can take your work home with you. High quality speakers are another great feature of the phone and are perfect for sharing music with friends.

Just because you have to wait in line to get into a club doesn't mean that you still can't have fun. With the press of a couple buttons you can transmit your music to the speakers and everyone around you can get into the beat of the music. A clear 2-inch display shows everything on the screen in crisp clear color.

You will have no problem reading emails on the go and you won't have to worry about dealing with low-quality screens. This is very helpful especially when you need to read messages when out of the office.

Sony Ericsson F305 -
So the closest we are likely to get to a PSP Phone this summer is the Sony F305. With two dedicated gaming buttons at the top of the phone which are utilized like a video-game controller when held sideways.

This quad-band 2G phone looks great in its all white case, with various buttons located throughout the front of the phone that let the user select which menu they want in a flash. The navigation key in the middle of the phone is a great way to select different menu choices one by one for a more precise selection.

At 97.5 grams this phone is very lightweight and can easily be carried around. Whenever you have a second free on your commute, this is the perfect device to have at your side. If you don't feel like carrying around a backpack, don't fret, because the 14.6mm thin body will easily slip into your pants.

Some great features of this phone include a Memory stick micro Slot, Bluetooth, and EDGE capability. Finally there is a fabulous 2 Megapixel Camera which ensures that your pictures emerge as sparkling examples of photography.

Of course if you absolutely had to compare the Sony to another phone that is better, I would absolutely have to pick the Blackberry 8900, Apple iPhone 3g and the Samsung Omnia. So lets take a look at these guys as well since I have you here!

Blackberry Javelin 8900 Curve -
The BlackBerry Javelin 8900 will be the replacement for the BlackBerry Curve when it's released. Interestingly, there will be no 3G support, but the javelin will Support EDGE Technology and will have GPS / WiFi and a 3.2 Megapixel Camera.

Apple iPhone 3g -
iPhone combines three products - a revolutionary mobile phone, a wide-screen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching - into one small and lightweight handheld device.

iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone.

Samsung Omnia -
Today from its headquarters in Seoul, South Korea, Samsung launched its new flagship smartphone, the SGH-i900 Omnia. The i900 Omnia runs atop of version 6.1 of Microsoft's Windows Mobile Professional operating system, and is intended for the Asian and European markets.

It supports quad-band GSM/EDGE as well as 2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA (7.2Mbps) network connectivity, with WiFi thrown in for good measure. Highlights of the Omnia include a large, 3.2" WQVGA (240x400 pixel) touchscreen display with stylus support. The display supports auto-rotation for apps and there is a TV-out function for when 3.2" just isn't large enough.

The i900 Omnia supports many different music and video formats, including Ogg Vorbis music and DivX and Xvid video. An FM radio is also included in case you forget to load up the i900's 8GB or 16GB of internal storage with your favorite music, and you don't have a microSDHC card lying around. Music can be enjoyed with wired or Bluetooth wireless headsets, thanks to the i900's A2DP stereo Bluetooth capability.
