Choosing Between Regular School Or Homeschool
I can confirm with confidence that education is the best way that leads to success. Lack of basic knowledge seems to be a great pity for human being to exist. Education is one of the biggest concerns of everyone at all ages and all levels of society. To get the knowledge more easily and effectively, there are many ways of teaching and learning. Many people say that children should be educated at home by their parents while the others think it is the best for their children to be sent to schools.
In some respects, the children should be educated at home by their parents because of some following reasons:
1. Reasons from the children:
To begin with, not all the children feel comfortable at school. It is hard for disabled children to go to school. Even though there are some special schools for them but at times, these schools do not meet the children's needs. The complex always exists in the children's mind and affects badly on their study. Disabled children's brain does not develop as normally as the others' and they need special and careful methods of teaching. In a class with many pupils, a teacher cannot take good care of one pupil only. That is the reason why the children need their parents to be by their side and teach them at home.
The second point is that home-schooled children are free from stress and pressure. When parents are teachers, the children feel much more comfortable as their parents know exactly what they want or how they feel. No piles of homework, no worry and pressure of the test and result, the children can have a good state to study, that helps them concentrate well on their work.
2. Reasons from parents:
Not all the decisions of home-schooled children come from the children but their parents also. Many parents cannot afford the school's tuition; it would be a burden on their family. In addition, the parents feel that they have enough knowledge to teach their sons or daughters.
In the other respects, children should not be educated at home but at school because of these points:
1. Lack of community relationship:
Without going to school, the children miss the great chance to communicate with their teachers and friends. They do not know the feeling of playing with friends and sharing the problems that they cannot do with their parents. There will be no sweet memories with schools and friends in home-educated children while they are an important part in student's life. Therefore, lack of community or social misfit is such a pity for the children who are taught at home by parents.
2. Teaching equipment and educational quality:
School can provide necessary equipment to serve the teacher and student's lesson. Students come to the lab in biology or chemistry lesson, study in library with many useful reading materials at school while it is impossible if they study at home. Moreover, the quality of education is a problem that should be considered. No parents can surely confirm that they can provide their children with accurate and sufficient knowledge. Teachers at schools need at least three years at college to become teachers. They have the background knowledge of teaching environment, student's psychology and specific understanding about their major. Therefore, parents cannot be in comparison with teaching in any ways.
In conclusion, the children take many advantages to develop thoroughly in mentality and physicality when they are educated at school. That is the best way to provide them with good knowledge preparation for their future
