Tarot Cards Wheel of Fortune Examined

Within the tarot card deck, there are two distinctive sets known as the major arcana and the minor arcana. The major arcana consists of the cards most people think of when tarot is referred to, as these are the cards that are given suggestive names like Wheel of Fortune. The minor arcana is highly similar to a regular playing card deck, as the cards are mostly numbered and include royalty. Although there are many major arcana cards, each one is incredibly unique and subject to intense interpretation.

The card that will be examined is the Wheel of Fortune. It is similar to the Death card in that it is one of the most misinterpreted cards in all of the tarot deck. When people hear Wheel of Fortune, they might think of the game show, and thus associate the phrase with good luck, money, and happiness. In a tarot sense, this could not be further from the truth. In fact, the Wheel of Fortune is one of the few cards that are almost completely negative. Even the Death card can, as often is, positive, but in the case of the Wheel of Fortune, no good can come from it. Therefore, do not look forward to turning up this card, as it only spells trouble and misfortune.

Like any tarot card, the Wheel of Fortune has two states; normal and reversed. Most tarot cards are better in their normal state and more negative in the reversed state. In the case of this card, however, even the normal state is not beneficial. When the Wheel of Fortune turns up, it means that you are currently in a bad situation that you need to get out of as soon as possible.

The slightly good aspect is that there is hope, but only if you are willing to accept that you need to change and you work for it. Be prepared to adapt to a new environment and make unhappy alterations to your lifestyle, for the purpose of a better life in the future. If you have encountered an opportunity that you are iffy about, this would be the time to accept it.

When the Wheel of Fortune card is in reverse, it is hard to come by any other card that is worse. This means that everything in your life is going, or will go, wrong, and even if you put forth your best efforts, it will be extremely difficult to pull out of this downward spiral. You may be depressed and feel like giving up, which is understandable in such a seemingly hopeless situation. So how do you turn around your life in a time like this?

The important thing is to take some time to analyze your current situation, look at all the problems individually, and draw up plans to deal with each one by one. By segmenting your problems, they are much easier to deal with than if you see them all as one giant black hole getting ready to destroy you. After evaluating everything, take action to make the any necessary repairs, and after a fair amount of work, things should begin to get better.

Despite that the Wheel of Fortune is a truly despicable card, it is not the end of the world. As long as you keep your focus, you can utilize your potential to overcome any obstacles.

This is such a bad interpretation. The author is just negative and should not be allowed to practice as a reader. Very unethical and inexperienced. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing to the ignorant like this author. Tarot cards are meant to throw light on a situation or a person and readings to be used as a guidance to one's life. No reading or card should indicate doom and gloom and nothing is ever set in stone. What is meant to happen in a person's life is also largely dependent on their decisions. This article is irresponsible.

Worst..interpretation..ever!
i would interpret this as a cycle, or reversed, as the end of a cycle. the wheel has many aspects, among them being an 'universal influence' in situational readings. there could be a possible negative interpretation if the wheel reversed is understood as being a 'reversal of fortune and fate', ie. an accident or abrupt ending to a fortunate or happy situation, such as the loss of a love or the ending of a project.
