Visiting Florida's Islands of Adventure Theme Park

Located in the heart of Orlando, Islands of Adventure is fun for the whole family. No matter your age you will find something that appeal to you. Islands of adventure is also known as IOA. Once you get to the huge double parking and park your car in either the King Kong floor or the Jaws floor, you will need to walk what seems like a life time to get to the park.

I only say a life time because the anticipation will kill you. When you start walking through you will notice the different themes and décor Universal Studios has. It's the kind of stuff that makes you feel like you're in another world. City walk is loaded with restaurants from Hard Rock café to NASCAR café. They have a strip of night clubs such as Red coconuts, Bob Marley and Pat O Brian's which an Irish style pub is. Make sure you stop by Jimmy Buffet's Margarita Ville and try their famous burgers and margaritas.

When you finally make it to IOA you will notice the lines. You will a lot of them throughout the park especially at the rollercoaster's. So you made it through the gates and once you make your way through the little souvenir shops, you make a left and behold the incredible Hulk ride. Its huge, it's green and scary! Make sure you get on it; it has an amazing surprise in the beginning of the ride that you'll never forget. IOA has three rollercoasters. The Incredible Hulk, Dueling Dragons, and the little unicorn rollercoaster for the kiddies. The Dueling Dragons is my favorite. It's two rollercoasters in one, the red and the blue. They intertwine within each other to the point where you think they'll crash into each other. It's a rush you'll never forget.

IOA also has the Jurassic Park section where you come face to face with the T-rex and where they have an awesome jungle gym for the kids. Adults can go in too; it's a huge playground that has hidden buttons that may squirt water at you. There's also toon town where they have a section dedicated to toons like Popeye and Betty Boop. Before you leave make sure you visit Dr. Seuss landing. You will really feel out of this world. Color and shapes beyond measure. Adults and kids will enjoy Dr. Seuss' crazy characters and world. IOA is filled with surprises and entertainment for everyone. Make sure you stop by and pay it a visit.
