Where Would You Look For Cheap Beach Vacations

Do you love beach vacations but find them too expensive? Is it possible to find cheap beach vacations, and if so where would you go to find them?

Yes you can find cheap beach vacations, but you need to make sure you look in the right place. Don't look for a beach holiday for the family at a premier beach resort at the height of the season and expect to buy it at a bargain. You might, but probably not.

What you need to do is to research the beach resorts that are close to the major well known resorts and try and find one or more that is in the same area but not nearly as well known. The famous and popular beach resorts don't need to offer cheap deals to attract people to their resort, they come anyway.

They are already well known for their sand and sun and surf and they have a ready made supply of people who love it there and probably come back to the same beach resort year after year. And they don't care if it's cheap or expensive, if they've been there already they can afford it and so they don't need to find cheap deals to attract them there and the resort doesn't need to offer cheap vacations to attract the clientele.

However it is highly likely that if there is a few well known popular and expensive beach resorts in a particular location there will be others that are less well known, less popular and so less expensive. And probably just as good as the popular ones. Possibly even better because they won't be as crowded as the popular beach vacation destinations and you'll be able to sit on the beach without being surrounded by a crowd.

And if there are newer beach vacation destinations trying to break into the market they need to offer cheap beach vacation packages to attract visitors at first before they start to attract regular yearly visitors.

So don't just focus your efforts at finding a discount beach vacation on the major resorts, you may be disappointed. Spend a little time and try and find out what else there is in the area and you may find a wonderful beach resort in the same area, less expensive and perhaps less crowded than the one next door.

And of course select the time that you want to go. Prices are a factor of supply and demand, and supply stays reasonable constant throughout the year, but demand changes spectacularly. In high season in the major beach vacation destinations the prices go through the roof. So try and find time that allows you to go when demand is a little lower and you may find some great beach vacation deals.

For example school holidays is peak time, so why not consider taking the kids away during school time instead. It won't hurt for them to miss a week of school and it may mean finding a hot beach vacation at a price that you can afford and the kids will love, or no beach holiday at all.

And if you're canny and know where to look you can also find beach vacation deals online. Perhaps someone has purchased a beach holiday and been unable to go for some reason, and need to sell it online fast, and cheap. Or perhaps the beach resorts have some unfilled places which they want to fill fast, and cheap.

There ARE places online where you can find cheap beach vacations that are at a price that will allow you and your family to frolic on the beach at a price that you can afford.

You just need to do some homework.
