Affiliate or forms of network marketing are today's hot business industries and active sources of what we call residual income. Many of the most successful network marketing industries such as Amway, Avon, Primerica and Tupperware Corporation are perfect examples.

The managerial and financial structure of multi-level marketing industries allows for the active flow of residual income among individual retailers and entrepreneurs.

Residual income is a form of income that takes its source from another people whom you have referred to or worked under your sales and managerial ladder.

Companies predetermine the percentage you get from such business setup. Additionally, your earnings are also based on how many sales agents are listed under your business line and how active are they in creating numbers, that is, sales.

Other forms or sources of residual income may come in the form of inventions, real-estate revenues and rights which will be discussed with much detail below.

How to Earn Residual Income

There are several ways by which you can earn residual income and start earning money in the future while investing a great amount of effort today. The most common phrase a residual income is best described is, "work hard today and reap big in the future."

The following ways are perfect examples on how you can start working on your business today and transform your future into something that everyone will envy.

Rights - If you are an artist who creates songs or movies, you can earn every time your movies or songs are aired either on TV media or radio or through the World Wide Web.

Companies of these types pay you some sort of royalties, a payment received due to the use of your invention or creation, and in turn, use it for the purpose of creating personal revenue as well.

Writers can also take advantage of receiving residual income. As books are being republished some time in the future, this creates a flow of passive revenue which continues every time a copy of the book is sold.

Let others work for you - If you have a capital which is big enough for others to use and allow it to earn interest, you can lie down and watch your income coming in without you doing anything!

Similarly, banks and other financial institutions operate on certain programs like time deposit money program to allow individuals to store a specific amount of money which the bank will use in exchange for a fixed interest which will be accrued on an agreed terms or intended period of time.

Leasing and Renting - Some home and landowners earns residual income through leasing and renting. You can build an apartment for others to rent, which allow you to earn passively without you spending a lot of energy on it.

Expending Natural Resources - Others who got lucky enough to have found that an oil is stored somewhere in your background can have an oil company operate on drilling it and provide you a percentage of the earnings.
Similarly, water station can rent a part of your land for water drilling purposes and in turn get paid on a regular basis.

Inventions - Chemists, engineers or pharmaceutical experts who are more likely able to create gadgets or chemicals that is needed and critical for a certain operation can secure patent to their creations, allow a third party company to develop the product and earn a percentage of the sales every time it is being used or bought by an individual.

Just how one becomes rich through residual income is made possible by ardent hardwork and how motivating are you in keeping your downlines intact and effectively creating numbers by themselves.

One must make sure that each of your individual downlines are creating sales and are meeting their quotas in order to get your expected monthly residual income.
