Many a times body builders fail to reach their utmost potential only because they become copy cats in the industry. Contemporary research studies into successful body building practices have established that when a body builder explores his or her unique passion, target and abilities, he or she has ten times higher chances of reaching the potential maximal body profile. A body must learn how to strike the balance in body builder by endeavoring to emphasize on personal goals and targets and then employing a specific training program that can achieve those targets soonest and with the least effort. This balance will be reflected in the diet enforced by each individual body builder, the routine adopted, the frequency of exercises, the intensity of workouts and also in the types of exercises involved during each workout. The balance can only be attained if body building is viewed from a personal point of view and with the full knowledge that each body builder is unique.

Copy cat ignorance typical of almost all armature body builders makes body building a difficult adventure as one tries to match up the strength of fellow body builders, outdo their muscle development success or set the pace in the gym by accumulating the most muscles in the shortest time. At the end of the day the body builder incorporates the mistakes of all the other body builders in his or her program leading to a disastrous end. Unique programs tailor-made to suit individual differences of abilities, make-up, targets and time frames help establish and maintain this crucial balance in body building.
