The list may be a mile long but if you make each item on your list into a goal for yourself then it will be easier to achieve the items on the list. The major items on your list can be broken into smaller things for you to do so that you are not overwhelmed by them. When you finish something on your list you will have an amazing feeling that you have managed to accomplish something and your sense of independence will increase.

A diary can help you to cope with psychosis symptoms as well. There needs to be somewhere for you to keep all of your emotions without worry of judgment. Writing in it everyday will help you to keep your emotions in check. You will be able to see the good things and the bad things in your as well as how you handled them. When you see how you handled situations you can change your responses and avoid situations that trigger the symptoms of psychosis.

You will need those close to you to be available to you in your times of need. They can be a source of comfort for you when you are suffering from severe psychosis symptoms. Support groups, counseling, family, friends and treatment therapy can all combine to help you cope with psychosis symptoms. How well you cope with psychosis symptoms will be dependant on the education and support that you have for dealing with them.
