Exercise And Cellulite - The Body Of Your Dreams

In just twelve weeks of weight training, you will see your thighs, hips, buttocks, and stomach becoming tight, toned, cellulite free, and defined. Depending upon how out of shape and/or overweight you are, you may have reached your perfect body at that point. If not, you will have to work a little longer—perhaps another six months. But one thing is for sure. If you do not give up, if you keep on going, in a year's time you will have the body you dared only fantasize about.
For many women it is really only the upper body that can get into perfect shape that quickly. The middle and lower body usually need a lot more work and a little more time, especially if you have cellulite.

THE FACTS ABOUT CELLULITE

Myth: Cellulite is genetic — you can't get rid of it.

Fact: Cellulite is stubborn, bunched-up fat—it will gradually disappear if you eat right and exercise.

While it is true that some people are more genetically inclined to cellulite than others, everyone can get rid of it—and this means you.

We have all seen living examples of cellulite gone wrong. It usually begins in the thirties, sometimes earlier. Thighs and buttocks become quite dimply with developing cellulite, and by the time forties roll around, those areas resembled a cross between an orange peel and cheesecake. (Cellulite is formed by enlarged fat cells that join together and attach themselves to connecting fibrous tissue just beneath the surface of the skin, giving the skin a bumpy, craterlike appearance.)

If you hate to look in the mirror, consider a vigorous exercise program.

Some creams have merit and some do not. We have seen good results with a product called Cellulean. Cellulean contains 2.0% aminophylline which is proven to shrink fat cells. More information available at http://www.celluleanworks.com/.

Enroll in a weight training program, aerobic exercise, and a low-fat eating plan. Combined, these elements will get rid of cellulite once and for all. Now, with time and persistence, anyone, no matter how bad their condition, can do it.

Hundreds of women now testify to the amazing changes that have taken place in their bodies by getting on a vigorous exercise plan. They range in age from eighteen (yes, believe it or not, some women begin to get cellulite at that age—and younger) to well into their sixties, and older. And some of these women are not really overweight. They're what I call a "skinny fat": they are out of shape, they have little or no muscle tone, and the small amount of fat they do have lies bunched up just beneath the skin, forming orange-peel cellulite!

How do you get rid of cellulite? There's really no mystery about it. As you perform weight-training exercises and at the same time follow a low-fat eating plan, two things happen:

1. Muscle begins to form in the cellulite-ridden areas.
2. Fat in these areas (and all over your body, too) begins to burn up and disappear.

Exercises, in addition to building muscle, help you to burn away bunched-up fat, or cellulite.

As you continue to work out and consume a low-fat diet, in time your previously dimpled, cellulite-ridden body parts inevitably become smooth and firm, defined and shapely. Cellulite has been replaced by firm muscle.

Diet alone won't do it. Exercise alone won't do it. Diet and haphazard exercise won't do it. It must be a vigorous exercise plan to build muscle that gets results.

YOU CAN DO IT AT HOME WITH VERY LITTLE EQUIPMENT

The beauty of this plan is that you can do it in your home with very little equipment—for a fraction of the price it would cost you to join a gym or fitness center. All you need are three sets of light dumbbells and a bench. And if you don't have a bench, you can do those exercises that require a bench at the edge of a bed, chair, or sofa—and on the floor.

Working out at home is a pleasure for those of us who want to save not only money, but time and perhaps embarrassment, too. Some days the very thought of making the effort of going to and from a fitness center and of having to deal with others looking on as we sweat and groan is enough to make us forget the whole thing.

If you do want to join a gym or fitness center, of course you can do the workout there—either with the dumbbells provided by the management or, following "Gym Workout" instructions.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

If you commit yourself to an exercise program, here's what you can expect to get from it:

A reduced dress or pants size in a matter of weeks

+ The steady loss of fat weight (not muscle or water) until you achieve your ideal body

+ Cellulite-free thighs, hips, buttocks, and stomach in approximately twenty-four workout hours if you are not more than thirty pounds overweight, or the same in six months to a year no matter how fat or out of shape you are!

+ Feminine definition in all the right places in a matter of months

+ The workout habit for life

+ A "never be bored" lifetime fitness maintenance plan

+ An increased rate of metabolism because you have added muscle to your body composition, so that you will not have to diet as much to maintain your weight

+ A "never be hungry" accelerated fat-loss plan

+ Increased energy

+ Improved posture

+ Increased self-confidence

+ A healthier heart and greater lung capacity
