Your hip is the important, weight-bearing joint formed where the top of the femur, or thighbone, meets the pelvis. The hip joint or the ball and socket joint have a round head of the thigh bone that fits into the cup of the pelvic bone. When it comes to physical appearance, hips are the first parts of body seen by people. In addition, the hip area is one of the most significant joint in the body. The hips involve with the whole host of movement which includes extension, stretching, flexion, and rotation.
Just like our other parts of the body, one should take care of their hips. Just like with the heart, arms, and legs, there are many hip exercises to develop the hip. These exercises include squats and lunges. Good weight lifting is also a good suggestive hip exercise. Like any muscle exists, its growth will depend upon the exercise the person does, diet and rest.
There are countless ways to perform a hip exercise. One may choose from using equipment or device while one may also using nothing but muscles. Using exercise equipment could give free body exercises that involve a lot of stretching to following a regular healthy diet.
Whatever method that one has decided to use or practice, one should remember that one could not get miracle or their ideal hips in a matter of days. Any method that one chooses to follow will definitely show results after given its time and dedication. Here are a few methods that one can employ to get the hips in shape.
1. Stretching and rotation are one of the good and suggestive exercises for the hips. This will help tone the muscles that make up the shape of one’s hips. In addition, it also helps the dieter to concentrate at a point that will help in developing one’s curves. Regular hip rotation could help the body to reduce the unnecessary flab and unwanted fats on one’s hips. For better results, one should try stretching and rotation exercises with a suitable diet. It will replace the nutrients lost and not the calories.
2. Jogging and running are another ways not only to lose weight but also for to tone the hip area. The benefits of this exercise routine include having a better heart and blood circulation, development of stomach and hip muscles, and decrease on one’s waistline after a couple of weeks. One advises to have a complete while doing this exercise. It is also recommended that one may run on a treadmill if one has body related problems such as knee pain. This equipment will help absorb the shock of the run.
3. Another hip exercise is to practice on the medicine ball. A medicine ball is also known as the core ball or the aerobics ball. It is used in many aerobics classes that help lose weight from the hips and get them back into shape. One can do these exercises without the help of an instructor if one knows to do them. However, if one is using a medicine ball for the first time then one should ask help from a professional instructor.
