After you have chosen the one that you feel is right for you, it's time to fill it with the different tools that you think you might need. The possibilities are endless but first thing's first. Ensure different precautions like safety glasses which are definitely a must. Flashlights with fresh batteries will help you when you need to repair something that's located inconveniently without any source of light, or when you decide to do the repairing at night. You would also want to grab some work glove to keep your hands clean in case you will be fixing something that's dirty or smelly. A dust mask will surely be handy if you have any case of allergies, like from dust for instance.

In case all you need is a simple adhesive to get the problem solved, then grab some wood glue if your problem is your stool's leg. Super glue will do wonders for materials that are a lot heavier than the usual. Epoxy, which is also an adhesive, may be used on some other kinds of materials. Tapes like electrical tapes and duct tapes may be used for a lot of different reasons but if you need some assistance, you may use masking tapes to hold things and free your hands to do another thing. Masking tapes are also useful for labeling since you can write on them using markers.

Here they are: sand paper, nails, screws, wrenches, bolts, nuts, washers, pliers, hammers, wire cutters and vise grips. Some extras don't really matter, that's why they're named as such. Think twice though because you may not know when you need a bunch of disposable rags, hand cleaners, fresh batteries for your flashlights and boxes of staple wires, just in case you run out of them.
