Mini Chandeliers: Big Is Beautiful, But Small Is Flexible
Which has more weight, beauty or flexibility? Some would say that something that is beautiful need not be inflexible, and some would say that there is beauty in flexibility. If we take these two views as truth, is beauty and flexibility then parallel to each other? I have heard of a lot say that big is beautiful, and small is usually attributed to flexible. Perhaps the bulk that follows something big is not usually expected for its versatility or flexibility, and the small that usually goes unnoticed can be more appropriately termed flexible.
Big and small are two very different concepts, each with its own strength. In the case of decor, what is big and what is small is usually relegated to different decorative aspects that would be fitting for their differing natures. It would be preferable, though, if one decorative piece can combine the best of these two opposing characteristics. If big is beautiful and small is flexible, what type of decorative piece could possible be beautiful yet flexible at the same time? The answer could lie with mini chandeliers.
As you can probably gather from its terms, the mini chandeliers are the significantly smaller versions of the typically big chandeliers. The conventional and standard chandelier has always been known for its beauty and grandeur, but it is hardly something that every home can cater to. Its bulk would probably crown an average room in an average home, for it was always meant to be decorated in big spaces. The beauty that a chandelier light can bring, however, was something that was unique and special, something that many people would want to have in their homes. Thus, the mini chandeliers were created. This type of chandelier pieces allows people to have the beauty that chandelier can bring minus the bulk that makes it unfit for the average home.
Because of their size, you can choose to decorate a place with a single mini chandelier or to group these types of lights together to form a cluster. This alone shows you how flexible the mini-chandelier can be. Imagine grouping a conventional chandelier with another of the same size. They would probably eat up the whole room. Another good thing about these chandeliers is that they can be used mainly for practical functions. This is because they can cater to both task lighting and accent lighting aspects of the home.
Task lighting refers to the lighting, which aids you as you do specific tasks. You can place a mini chandelier under your kitchen cabinet, for instance, so that you will be able to see the things placed inside it when it becomes too dim for you to make out anything clear. Accent lighting, on the other hand, refers to the lighting of a specific area in a room not hidden from view but not included in the general lighting. You can use mini chandeliers, then, to accentuate the parts of the room not covered or not actually highlighted by your overhead fluorescent bulb.
Mini chandeliers are flexible in a way that they can be decorated in almost any place of the home that you can think of, from the parts of the kitchen, to the bathroom and even on the stairways. It is a light choice you would probably never regret, for it combines decorativeness with functionality and beauty with flexibility.
