The perfect time to measure your weight is early morning, after emptying the urinary bladder and bowels. Adjusting the zero, before taking the measurement is necessary. Make sure your bathroom scale is showing zero when nothing is placed on it. If you don’t adjust the zero the reading showed by the scale won’t be accurate.

Some scales have provision for keeping record of the height, age and sex and other vital characteristics of more than one person. Some provide conversion readings by pressing the switch.
