Get Website Traffic Using Your eBay Auctions

If you sell on eBay, you may also have a website or online store. Use your eBay listings to drive traffic to your site or store. You can do this by writing information ebooks and listing them in your auctions.

Let's say you have a website or online store that sells kitchen accessories such as bakeware, bread machines, mixers, or anything related to cooking or the kitchen. You make an information product describing the different brands and models of bread machines. You describe the benefits and flaws of each brand. Another information product could be bread recipes.

If you have a website selling cameras, you would do the same thing. You would make an information ebook describing the different makes of cameras, what each camera can or can't do, the number of pixels, memory, or maybe it does video. Give as much information about each product as possible. Give them the good and the bad about each. You write an information ebook describing something of interest to you. If you like woodworking, write an information ebook about different tools that you use and how to use them. Or as mentioned above, give them a breakdown of various tools, listing their good and bad features.

Now for the way to increase traffic to your website or online store using this method. You put your web address (URL) in the ebook. Mention it several times. When they click on this link, it will direct them to your site to see what you are describing, and see all the great and wonderful products you have for sale there.

If you don't have a website, you can still earn money by following this procedure. You simply find a website or online store that sells the products you want to represent, sign up as an affiliate of theirs, and direct traffic to that site. When you sign up, they will give you an affiliate link. You simply put this link into your information ebook,. Be sure to insert it several times. When they click on this link, they will be taken to that website. When they make a purchase, you will earn money from that purchase. The amount will depend on what the affiliate percentage being paid to you is.

The best part of all of this is you have no inventory that you have to store and ship because the ebook is digital. You can set it up to be delivered immediately after they pay through PayPal. The only cost involved in preparing the ebook is your time. You could also pay someone to write the ebook for you.

There are any number of things you can write about. In addition to the few listed about, there is pet, fishing, crafts, organization, computers, sewing, gardening, birds, flying. Well you get the idea.

Just write the ebook, list it on eBay for a nominal price ($.99, $1.99 or even $2.99). Remember, the idea isn't to make money on the ebook. The idea is to use the ebook to drive traffic to a site outside of eBay where you can make more money.
