The persons who provide the chances to the downline belong to the upline category. The downline members are recruited and trained by the upline members. They recruit and train the downline members for their own benefit of generating more commissions. The efficiency of the upline members is most important in an MLM business. However, everyone involved in the MLM business, whether upline or downline should have a positive attitude regarding the product in order to make the MLM business successful. MLM business is generally done over the phone. It involves calling the leads that have been generated. However, this process is time consuming. Network marketing on internet means that marketing of the product is done online by a network of representatives. Online network marketing involves leads generation, qualifying the leads and following the leads till an action is taken by them. All this process can be done online which saves a lot of time.

Network marketing first requires generating leads. The leads can be generated by personally calling them up. The contact details of these prospects should be saved and these leads should be followed up periodically by making phone calls.
