Pay Per Click Affiliate Programs

I think by now a lot of people are aware of the accessibility of making money online; it really is easy to find something to get involved in to make some extra cash on the side or even become super successful to the point where you can actually quit your regular day job and completely devote your time to an online business. PPC affiliate programs can be an important venue to making money from the Internet. A partnership with an affiliate merchandiser is a win-win situation for the merchant and the affiliate: sales are soaring because of exposure and traffic while the affiliate is making good money. PPC affiliate marketing is not the same as an Affiliate program where you sell products. Instead, PPC is all about getting people to click on ads, text links and banners. For example, you might join a PPC program that will allow you to earn .30 cents per click (obviously this can go higher or lower), so if you get 10,000 clicks on that ad, text link or banner you just made yourself a cool $3,000.

There are two types of PPC affiliate programs; those who pay commissions based on the number of clicks and those who pay on sales. Pay per click is much more popular than pay per lead because you get paid for something as simple as a click regardless if the user buys the product or not. When choosing an affiliate program, it's important to read the fine print, see what they allow and what they don't allow, make sure you read the guidelines! Also, see what sort of a ratio or percentage they offer per click. As aforementioned this number can change from higher to lower depending on the website.

The main thing you will need is a website, and setting one up can either be easy or hard. I'm partial to the easier way myself. A few times when needing to build an affiliate site, PPC or otherwise, I have always found it helpful to buy tools that can help me build the site so that I can actually make sales. These tools will help you utilize your site by designing the pages, content and design as well as give you other advice and tips for "content" type additions you can place on your site such as articles and videos. This is still a good idea even if you are just doing PPC because its like a pre-teaser and then it makes the user want to click the ad, link or banner to find out more information. Obviously, this is what you want! These tools have always paid off in the end for me, and they do help you reach the sales goals you want or need to!

The second part is obviously going to be traffic! Post a link to your internet site in forums, web communities, ezine articles or bulletin boards. My big traffic builder is writing articles and distributing them to websites online. Not only does this create backlinks which will raise your ranking on search engines and allow your site to show up in the results page more often, but it will also allow people to read the articles and in turn click the link leading to your website in the author resource box! This really is one of the easiest ways I could suggest when needing targeted visitors to visit your website. For example; if you joined a PPC program and you are promoting a digital e-book, you could write an article about digital products online and then place the article into the category its most relevant to along with keywords. Really simple stuff but really important!
