An Unexperienced Marketer Must Find Own Ways How To Make Money Online
To be able to make money online you need some skills and eagerness, because even the easiest and simplest tactics need a certain amount of learning. What is mostly needed is the general understanding about marketing and how to reach potential target groups and how to write to them.
Start As A Blogger.
A blog is an online marketing medium, which can become extremely strong selling tool to make money online, if handled correctly. A blog is free, quick and easy to set up, actually it happens in a minute.
The free blog companies offer a wide set of different designs, templates, to select from and you can easily modify the blog along your own will. The important thing is that your blog has an ability to stand out from the crowd, i.e. that it has a personal look and content. As a blogger you become a journalist, who has to offer to the readers useful content regularly.
The social bookmarking sites are good channels to inform the internet community about new posts and to reach targeted target groups in a minute. I have an experience that a blog post can climb high on the search engines in some minutes. Of course you must be realistic with the keywords you use.
The very nature of the blog is that it is personal, like your own diary. This is important to understand, because you cannot handle the blog as an advertising medium. It is not primarily a place to make money or to sell. It is a medium, which presells the idea of the landing page, i.e. the page, which will be opened by clicking the link in the Bio Box.
It is important to set some strategy for your blog. If the blog is the only marketing tool, which you are using, then you can tell almost about everything in your posts. However it is important to try to think, who are in your target group. Are they starters, old or young, from States or from India etc. This helps you to direct your messages. I think a realistic way is to speak to the same kind of people, than what you are yourself.
The main thing is to write about ways to make money online to your readers, but you have also to think how you can get readers, who actively search for the kind of information, which you offer. I already mentioned social bookmarking, but additionally you have to try to climb high on the search engine result pages.
The key to ways to make money online is to select the right keywords or search terms, which you use in your posts. These are terms with which surfers are looking for information in the Net. Because your blog has not many links back from other blogs or websites, I recommend that you use low demand and long tail keywords. With them it is more realistic to get high places on the search engines.
Here is one good way to build effective keyword families. First select a related search term with two words, which has about from ten to twenty daily searches. Then submit this term into your keyword selection software and you will get search terms with three words. Of these three words two are the same than in your first term. Continue like this and soon you will have a set of keywords, which all belong to the same family and thus help each other in the ranking.
If you have not written anything to online community, do not be afraid to start. Everybody has started some day. And the more you write about your own experiences the more skillful you become.
