Jennifer Hudson Tickets - Jennifer Hudson Talks Touring
After enduring a harrowing family tragedy, Jennifer Hudson is back on track and focusing on her career. The songstress is set to tour with Robin Thicke this spring, starting with a March 31 show in Albany, N.Y. but recently told Billboard online that she has plans for a full-scale concert tour of her own. "I'm excited to get out and meet the people and sing for the people. I always love to perform live. The only other tour I've been part of is the (American) Idol tour, so this'll be more intimate and personal," Hudson gushed to reporters. Hudson's inaugural tour is alongside Thicke as opposed to on her own largely because the singer only has one album, her 2008 Grammy Award-winning effort Jennifer Hudson, and material from her Academy Award-winning role in Dreamgirls under her belt, but she undoubtedly has a bright future ahead of her so check online for Jennifer Hudson tickets to see this rising star perform live.
"I'm in a weird place like,'Wow, everybody knows Jennifer, but where do you place her? Who do you put her with? Where do I go?' That was the hardest part of the puzzle to put together. I think we came out with a great solution," the singer explained. Hudson and Thicke will each perform for about an hour and will also take the stage together during their 25 theater and casino dates, which conclude in Biloxi, Miss. May 9. Thicke and Hudson previously collaborated on "Giving Myself," a track penned by Thicke which appeared on Hudson's eponymous album.
