The Jonas Brothers Tickets - Not Just Another Teen Pop Group
If Barbara Walters couldn't get the juiciest details out of the three 'Purity ring' brothers, there is little that can. The Jonas Brothers appeared on the Barbara Walters Oscars Special, just moments after the Best Picture was announced at the 81st Annual Academy Awards, sitting with Walters while she asked the burning questions regarding their love life, family and of course, their fans. The brothers, who have seen their fair share of failure, were asked to describe each other while Walters focused on the future not just the eminent future, like the guy's latest film and participation in its soundtrack, but the future of yet another teen pop group.
Somewhat subdued in comparison to their typical head swinging explosive sound that appears during their concerts, the guys easily answered Walters question about splitting away and becoming a sort of "Justin Timberlake" type. Joe Jonas, the middle brother, heartthrob and vocalist of the group, quickly responded with "For us, it would never be a solo project, it'd be a side project. There's no way we can just break up, because I mean, I live in the same house as them, so it's going to be pretty difficult," Joe laughed.
"Who's to say what tomorrow will bring, but we do believe that our fans are amazing, and that they will be there for us, forever," Nick continued. Though coming from the youngest and apparently "wisest" of the group, according to eldest Kevin who was asked to describe his 16 year old brother, Nick has forgotten to do his homework similar pop groups like NSYNC and even that other little trio of brothers, Hanson, have all fallen past their prime. Still, with a company like Disney backing them up and a much cleaner conscious than similar performers, the guys are bound to sell Jonas Brothers tickets for years to come.
Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience comes out February 27th while the guys are currently working on their third album. The guy's latest adventure with Disney is also in the works, a show simply titled "Jonas" that is set for debut in May. It's not just Disney that the guys are working; in the last few months they have played Times Square on New Year's Eve, headlined The American Music Awards, chimed in with Stevie Wonder at the Grammys and performed a few hits for the President and his daughters. With such a strong, faith-based presence in their company (both parents tour with the guys), it makes it difficult for them to falter in any sense of the word, which is perhaps why relationships, even one's lasting two years where the words "love of my life" were often exchanged (as in Miley Cyrus' and Nick's reported romance) find trouble at home with the teens.
Though they may get ridiculed for their bubblegum pop that is clearly geared toward Disney pre-teens that helped make Cyrus a superstar (the Jo-Bros opened for her during her Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus tour), they are making Rolling Stone covers and top Billboard hits that are bound to keep them stars for a while. Music from the 3D Concert Experience features singles like "Burnin' Up," "I'm Gonna Getcha Good" and "That's Just the Way We Roll" that the guys performed while in Anaheim last year, and already is catching headlines across the nation.
