Starting your own isn't easy, and having people who care about your success enough to encourage you is important.

The answer is, the same way as you would anyone else. Show people that your plans for your own business are good ones by sitting down and thinking through every possible aspect from how you're going to raise the money to get your business off the ground to keeping customers loyal and coming back for more. Try to response every question that friends and family might have, to show them that this isn't just another great idea with little foundation. When they ask you questions, you'll be prepared to give them confident answers and they'll be more willing to support your entrepreneurial ventures.
