Secrets Of Success: Something That Every 15-Year-Old Has To Go Through

I remember during my high school, nothing had much success with my attention. But, on a particular day, I came to face with a curiosity that I had never known before. Let me clarify something, it wasn't a sudden fascination with my Maths teacher. In fact, it was the Science teacher that attracted my attention. But I never had much success with asking her out.

Now, back to my curiosity. Back then, my school was constantly engaging success development coaches for their students and teachers; Speed Reading on Monday, Mind Mapping on Tuesday, etc. The school justified it as adding value to its students and staff, but from the way I saw it, it was more of a waste of my spare time. I just couldn't understand the importance behind all those success and failure mumbo-jumbo.

Despite the poor success rates of these courses, one of them had actually caught my attention. A certified NLP coach, the speaker introduced us to a fascinating subject. He showed us the world that lies within our heads. The clique of the brain's omnipotence may dull many of you now, but it is definitely a whole new universe for a class of 15-year olds. Especially when we saw the potential of the subconscious mind; how it can link individuals to everybody's mind through the morphogenetic field, how it can affect physical reality as we know it, how it can help us get our 'A's during the finals, and most importantly, how to program it to accomplish all those tasks successfully.

Of course, in the end, I never did get all my 'A's or master any Jedi mind-tricks, and none of my classmates had much success either. A schoolboy's fantasies never last and the passion just dies off. It did rekindle and fade throughout my years, but six years down the road, I am beginning to appreciate the mechanics of the mind again. All the rekindling of passion along the years can be traced back to that particular lesson; it sowed the seeds for this interest to blossom. My success can be traced back to that personal development course.

Although not every teenager gets to attend personal development courses in school, they would have received something similar through informal education. A pep talk with grandpa, a success stories commentary or an inspiring event. Due to their impressionable nature, they are like sponges that will absorb any knowledge from any sources, as long as it coincides with their innermost needs at that point in time, which is most probably recognition for any success.

They believe that they are mature enough to be in control of their life but the only control they have is over themselves. If they feel curious about any radical concepts, they will self-experiment to gauge how much success they have with it.

The teenage years are the most optimal time to install personal development disciplines in life. Since it is inevitable that every teenager will want to test the feasibility of some ideas, regardless of the outcome, why not introduce them to an inner journey of self-discovery? Regardless of the level of success they can achieve with a good personal development program, the important thing is that they will have a better understanding of themselves and what they are truly capable of. Even if they choose not to apply the lessons, the seeds have already been sown. One day, when they decide to pursue the personal development or success-coaching field again, they will have a head start and be more open-minded to fresh concepts.

Every teenager will have to go through a period of curiosity and self-exploration, to discover how far they can go and how much success they can achieve. A good personal development program will not only give them a safe subject to explore, it will ultimately give them the tools needed for any future life transformations.

Never deprive them of a head start. There are over fifty unique topics pertaining to personal development, such as NLP, hypnosis, time management, goal setting, etc. and they pose minimal health risk (if any at all). Allow yourself and your teenage friends to try out a personal development course today.
