7 Secrets For Applying The Law of Attraction

"You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you." - James Allen

Your thoughts are the key to applying the Law of Attraction in your favor. As a Natural Law, the Law of Attraction works all the time - whether you're aware of it or not. So it's not so much a matter of applying the Law of Attraction, as it is in becoming aware of this awesome power and how it works.

Like attracts like, or as Abraham, the spiritual voice expressed through Esther Hicks says, "that which is like unto itself is drawn." What you put out is what you get back. In other words, you attract into your life the things, people, and circumstances that are a vibrational match to your repetitive thoughts.

Here are 7 secrets for applying the Law of Attraction:

1. Get clear on what it is you want to attract. You must be able to clearly and succinctly describe something you would like to have, become, or do in your life. If your description is fuzzy, your order to the Universe will be muddled. Describe your goal in specific details, and list why it's important to you.

2. Spend less time thinking about what you don't want. We all do it, to varying degrees. The trick is to catch yourself and switch gears and focus. Since whatever you think about, you bring about -- it's important to control your mental attention and keep it pointed in the direction you want to go.

3. Imagine yourself in possession of your goal. This is a biggie in applying the Law of Attraction. Imagine what it's like to now have what you want. Note the details. Capture the feelings. Explore every facet of it. Get comfortable having your goal. Know exactly how it feels, so when that day arrives, you'll simply identify what you've been expecting all along. Think and act from the position of already having what you want.

4. Engage your senses. Don't just visualize it. Get a sense of the sounds, scents and tastes you'll enjoy when your goal is realized. Imagination is enhanced by involving as many of the senses as possible. The more you can experience being in possession of your goal, the more real you make it and more fuel you're adding to the fire of creation.

5. Feel it at every opportunity. Assume ownership of whatever it is you seek. Get to know how it feels and then mentally stay inside that feeling. Carry on with your life, but do so from this position of power. The more you feel it, it more it becomes a part of you. Revel in it. Know that it's yours.

6. Look for evidence. Look all around and for proof that your goal is on the way. Accept the Universe as the co-creator in your life and use every shred of evidence to enhance your belief. Pay attention to the subtle messages, whatever format they assume.

7. Believe. It's crucial to believe that whatever you want can be yours. Keep the faith, hold to the vision. Reshape, refine or recast your goal to suit, but never doubt your ability or the power of the Universe in applying the Law of Attraction.

Hold to it and you'll eventually hold what you want in the palm of your hands. When you make the manifestation of your goal the next logical step -- that's when magic happens. That's where you see results that can often amaze others. But you knew it was just a matter of time. Your thoughts and feelings are the master key to applying the Law of Attraction.
