How Far is Too Far?

We humans are blessed with an amazingly adaptive mind and body and this enables us to mould ourselves to fit many different circumstances and also to achieve many new and wonderful things.  Just think about our instinct to pick up any language which we are exposed to, or to learn an enormous range of skills, or the ability to invent something with is absolutely unique and new.  What are the true limits placed upon human potential?

Nobody can ever know the answer to this question as records are broken every day and new discoveries are made every day.  In reality the only true and undeniable limitation to the natural inclination to stretch and grow as a human being is found within an individual's thought processes.

Those in pursuit of success will try and try again.  Some will quit, whilst others will just keep on going, unwilling to admit defeat.  There is one thing for sure, if you do not try you will not savor the taste, or smell the sweet scent, of success.  Why do some people give up whilst others continue their often lonely and difficult quest?  Some people have more to lose if they continue on their path towards their goal, but even then some people will take that risk whilst others will not.

Those who have achieved major success will agree that they are not necessarily the most talented, or physically able, in their particular field.  What sets them apart lies more in their approach to their success; in the systems they employed along the way.  A systematic approach in both thought and action is imperative for anyone who seeks success.  Without this one could expend equally as much energy (if not more), but without a focused and consistent direction that expense of energy is totally wasted.

It is therefore important to have an end goal in mind all of the time and then to work daily towards that goal.  If you wanted to climb Mount Everest there would be many different things which you would need to do to make that dream a reality.  You would have to build strength, get fitter, acclimatize to weather conditions, look for partners, seek out equipment, and so on.

Let us imagine, however, that you lost your focus upon your end goal as you turned all of your attention to getting fit and strong. This would have the effect that you would expend all of your efforts in this direction; would this enable you to climb that Mountain?  The answer is "no".

A systemic thinker, on the other hand, will think about their end goal every day and will constantly ask themselves how best they might use their resources, time and energy.  They will thus constantly adapt the minutia of their day so as to take the most expedient course towards their goal.  Successful people are planners as well as doers.

There are a lot of people who "do" without a clear plan.  For these people, their goal will be as elusive as searching for a needle in a haystack.  If this is happening to you, then it is time to step back, contemplate your goal and create a clear plan of action.  Do not allow yourself to go too far in the wrong direction as this will simply exhaust and demoralize you.

With a clear plan however, there is no such thing as going "too far".  Things can only get better and better, and the sky really is your limit.

"Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go"  T S ELIOT

In creating your clear plan, hypnosis is a great help.  Hypnosis is a state of relaxation and in using it you take an automatic step back.  As you relax in hypnosis you can refocus on your goals, and also tap into the creativity of your subconscious mind, accessing a state of mind where you are far more likely to find solutions to problems and see new ways to overcome obstacles.

You have to keep your end goal in mind; otherwise you will be drawn off course.  An extremely useful thing to do is to listen to a hypnosis mp3 recording on a daily basis which guides you to see your end goals and to imagine the appropriate steps you might take so as to get there.  In this way you take a relaxing break on a daily basis which refreshes your mind and unlocks your creativity, boosts your confidence and motivates you to succeed.  I really cannot think of anything more empowering to one who wants to succeed.
