Gratitude Is The Key To Greater Success

You must know and understand that you live in a society where different people with different, unique and creative talents contribute differently and significantly to the things you do, your surroundings and environment. And believe me when I say that acknowledging their valuable contributions is extremely vital to your continual success.

Allow me to show you the following simple analogy to illustrate my above-mentioned point better. As you are probably well aware, your body consists of numerous systems such as the respiratory system, digestive system and circulatory system. Your lungs in the respiratory system takes in oxygen while the various organs such as your mouth, gullet, stomach, etc in your digestive system breaks and digest the food you eat.

Your heart and blood vessels in your circulatory system then transport the oxygen and food to various body parts and carries waste away from other body parts. These systems work hand in hand to ensure to the smooth running of your body and in turn your life. If you fail to take proper care of your body and this in turn leads to one of the system functioning improperly, your could face a possible life threatening situation.

The same concept applies to how the different people around you serve different purposes and functions in your life but ultimately their different purposes and functions actually work hand in hand to ensure your success.

However, if you fail to show gratitude to them for their contributions, it could prove very costly to your continual success.

Showing gratitude to the people around you is vital to develop the following three aspects, which are important traits of successful people. The three aspects are connectedness, dedication and modesty. Connectedness simply means your constant and growing links, connections and bonds with numerous people with different talents and skills.

Dedication indicates that you are committed to these people around and you are willing to work hand in hand with them to achieve common goals and aspirations. Modesty ensures that you remain humble and constantly show care and concern to the people around you.

In fact, when you develop connectedness, dedication and modesty, this will in turn enable you to overcome seclusion, arrogance and egotism. Seclusion means to be isolated from other people and your surroundings. When you cut all ties with the people around you and you do not keep updated with the changes in your surroundings, you are basically writing a one-way ticket to your failure.

Arrogance is the act of thinking that you are too great and perfect to be associated with the so-called 'little' people. However, arrogance blinds you from the fact that these people were actually significant to your success and shunning them away can lead to your failure.

Egotism is simply refusing to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of the people around who have tremendously contributed to your success.

So whether you are working on your path to success or you are already successful now, it is still very important and relevant to show gratitude to the people around or working under you.

Say a simple thank you, acknowledge how much help they have been and constantly compliment them for all their efforts and contributions. When you shower the people around you with gratitude, they will definitely reciprocate by willingly assisting you and contributing more to help you achieve your tasks, goals and aspirations. This is a definite win-win situation for yourself and the people around you.

The people around you each play a vital role in building your success. Always note that you must ensure that you continually and diligently show them gratitude and recognition in order to ensure their continual contribution and in turn your continual success.
