Successful Leaders Don't Have All The Answers, But They Know Where To Find Them.

The minute a person believes he knows all the answers to all the questions is the minute he is no longer a successful leader. Leadership requires knowledge in a variety of areas: personal development, human psychology, marketing, technology, the art of connecting with others, and the ability to envision what others are unable to comprehend or even conceive.

Some people just seem to know more than others. This was not a gift parceled out at birth. Well, perhaps it was. The gift was curiosity, desire, a thirst for knowledge, and it was given to all of us. What we’ve done with that gift is another issue.

Well meaning but misguided individuals prepared us for the world by making us more practical, by limiting our visions and telling us to give up our dreams. But it is the dreams and visions that spark the desire to learn more and be more and help others do the same. However, it’s nearly impossible to do this by yourself. But with the collective knowledge of others and the increased energy of the dreams that come together, each of us can rise to our potential and bring others who have left the security of the practical life and are now ready to live their dreams and reach their original potential along on a splendid journey.

People strive to be leaders for different reasons and serve in various ways. Some of you want to build a life by design through the opportunity of network marketing, some want to help others by acting as a life coach, others may want to share the insight they’ve gleaned from life experience and the guided experience of others. Whatever the reason, realize that this desire to lead is a calling. It is a duty to serve others. With this calling, there is also a need, a need to grow as individuals in order to offer assistance to those who look to you for direction.

There is a saying, that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. Have trust that there are many teachers with all the lessons you need to become the strong leader you desire to be. The first teacher is that quite voice within that will always be true and guide you without failure.

For a number of years, I was searching for something, but I was never quite sure what I was looking for. I fell into network marketing, never thinking that I would become or want to be a leader. Then something happened: I heard that quiet voice. It did not sound with trumpets or even a flash of inspiration. It was persistent and insistent and leads me in directions I never expected.

I’ve always loved bookstores, but I now found myself in the shelves that housed things by Dr. Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra. John C. Maxwell , Robert Kiyosaki, Stephen R. Covey, and Jack Canfield now found their way onto my bookshelves. I found myself attending seminars on personal development and listening to the words of Michael Clouse, Chris Widener, Jeffery Combs, Artemis Limpert, and the amazing Ellie Drake. CDs, and tapes fill my cabinet with lessons on “Opening the door to opportunities…” “Maximize you natural abilities…” “Using your fears as rocket fuel…” and countless others. The voices of Dyer, Combs, Artemis, Mark Victor Hansen, and Ellie Drake are with me morning, noon and night. They have become my new best friends, my confidantes, and my mentors. They have shared all they’ve learned and are unselfishly showing me the way to become all that I can be in order to serve others.

These people and others like them are the sculpted teachers who teach through their experiences. They will guide you to trust yourself and find strength you never knew you had. They will encourage you when others call you foolish or a dreamer. They know the value of dreaming. They know the price that must be paid to live that dream. They know that it is all worth it, and you are capable to being part of their mastermind, their team. You are part of a select group of people who listen to that voice that never steers people in the wrong direction. Listen to that voice and discover the leader within.
