What Nationality is Barack Obama is a question that is still being asked by many Americans. Many Americans want to believe that President Obama is something else from somewhere else. People are still skeptical of him and his background. He has more than once answered the question of what nationality is Barack Obama both verbally and visually through movie and video presentations. This article will simply reiterate his heritage.

Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was born to parents Ann Dunham, a white American lady from Wichita, Kansas and an African father name Barack Obama, Sr originally from Nyang coma Kogelo, Nyanza Province, Kenya. His father was a student at the University of Hawaii where both met. His parents married on February 2, 1961. Their marriage only lasted 2 years with President Obamas father returning to his homeland Kenya. Obama and his father had a rather fleeting relationship in which he did not get the chance to spend much time with his father before he died in 1982.

Obamas mother later married an Indonesian named Lolo Soetoro. They both were attending college in Hawaii. At some point President Obama had to relocate with his family back to Indonesia where he attended school until he was 10 years old. The reason for the familys move to Indonesia is due to his father in law being ordered to return by command of new leadership in Indonesia. The privilege of students studying abroad in other countries was disallowed. Obama later returned to Honolulu where he lived with his mothers grandparents until he graduated high school in 1979.

What nationality is Barack Obama is the question people are still asking. With the information given it is easy to see that President Obama is a native American. Sure because of family ties he had to relocate to another part of the world temporarily but he returned to America and began his ascent to greatness while in this country.

After graduating high school he attended the Occidental College for two years later transferring to Columbia University in New York City where he majored in political science. He graduated from Columbia with a Bachelors of Arts in 1983. After graduation he worked at the Business International Corporation briefly for one year. He also worked at the New York Public Interest Research Group.

Four years later Obama relocated to Chicago where he took a job as Director of the Developing Communities Project (a church based community organization). He worked there for 3 years from 1985 to 1988. During those years he also worked as a consultant and teacher for the Gamaliel Foundation which is a community organizing institute.

In 1988 Obama attended Harvard Law School where he served as editor of the Harvard Law Review then eventually becoming the first African American President of the Harvard Law Review. He received his Juris Doctor from Harvard in 1991. In 1995 he published his first book entitled Dreams from My Father.

He worked at the University of Chicago Law School for 12 years as a professor teaching Constitutional Law. He later ran for an Illinois Senate office and won in 1996, re-elected in 1998, and again in 2002. In 2004 Obama ran for US Senate seat and won. He was sworn in on January 4, 2005.

After only 2 years as a Senator he announced to the world his candidacy for President of the United States and the rest is history as we all know it. He was sworn in as the 44th President on January 20, 2009.
I think it is clear what nationality is Barack Obama by now. He is an American that loves his country.

I, in fact do not question his nationality. But, Constitutionally he was and still is ineligible for the Presidency of the United States of America. He may be a U.S. citizen, but he is not a NATURAL BORN U.S. CITIZEN. There is a constitutional distinction between the two.
