ADHD Child Symptoms - A Comprehensive List of Common Symptoms of ADHD in Children
You are wondering if a child you care about is exhibiting ADHD child symptoms. A son or daughter, niece or nephew; student or neighbor, started acting out in class, or has become withdrawn and spacey. Lots of times when people think of Attention Deficit, they picture an out-of-control kid in constant motion, bouncing off the aisles in the grocery store or standing on the classroom desktops. Here's a list of symptoms of ADHD in child behavior and some guidance on using homeopathic remedies to help reduce the not-so-welcome behavior.
Most of us think of symptoms of ADD/ADHD in child behavior like hyperactivity or inability to focus on a single topic. It is normal for all children to be inattentive, hyperactive, or act impulsively sometimes - think back on your own childhood. I bet you had a tantrum or two or did a table-top jig for the kids in class. The difference between you and a child with ADHD is that these behaviors occur more often and may be extreme.
There are a number of factors that go into diagnosing an Attention Deficit child. There isn't one test that can accurately diagnose a child as having this condition. The purpose of this list of ADHD child symptoms is to help you validate your suspicions and then head into a licensed health professional for complete diagnosis.
There are three types of the condition:
1. Predominantly hyperactive-impulsive;
2. Predominantly inattentive;
3. Combined hyperactive-impulsive and inattentive.
