Fallout 3 World Map Raven Rock Review

Raven Rock is the primary operation point in the Enclave in year 2277. It is located in the northwestern part of of the Capital Wasteland. The base of Raven Rock is not attainable during freeform play. The way to arrive to Raven Rock is you must find the Garden Of Eden and escape during the American Dream. After escaping during The American Dream the entrance will seal behind you.

While playing Fallout 3 World Map Raven Rock you will have the option to locate a few NPCs while maneuvering through Raven Rock. A member from Megaton can be found while in Raven Rock. That members name is Nathan Vargas. He can be found warning the player character that the Enclave are not real. Another character that can be found here is Anna Holt. She is found in a room near John Henry Edens office.

You as the player character have the option to completely destroy Raven Rock by means of a speech check with the President of Eden.

While in Raven Rock you will discover there is a plethora of loot available to be taken. Some of the loot includes the Gatling Lasers, Tesla Power Armor, Enclave Power Armor, and Plasma Rifles. Located in sector 2c in a northwest room is the Bobblehead Energy Weapons. Be sure to grab those while you are there.

Also in Raven Rock you will find a few electric barriers that have behind them ammo and first aid kits. The only way to get past these barriers is to hack the terminals. One way to retrieve the ammo and first aid kits is to use similar tactics used to get Colonel Autumns 10mm pistol. The way this is down is go third person. While going as a third person attempt to stand right next to the barrier. While standing next to the barrier hold down the button that allows you to change perspective. While doing so the camera while begin to rotate. Continuing doing this until you see your way to loot the crates.

To blow off the outer hatch you can use small fire arms. It is not necessary to use grenades. If you go inside the complex (before conquering The Waters of Life) you will immediately be blocked from entry by a wall you cannot see. The wall is there but you will not be able to see it. You will just notice you can not go further.

As you leave Raven Rock you will instigate an event where Colonel Autumns Vertibirds rush out of the compound. If you go re-enter and exit again, the Vertibirds will be stuck to the ground on top of Raven Rock. All you have to do from there is climb so you can study them up close. The only thing you can do is study them and learn from them. At this point of the game you cannot do hurt them. They are protected.

Another bug to consider when you return to Raven Rock after completing the associated quest is you will find soldiers fleeting. You will want to kill them and gather their spoils which includes power armor and energy weapons. After a few days pass you will notice those same soldiers you killed are retreating. You will also notice those soldiers have power armor that you can take again.

If at some point you decide to leave Fallout 3 World Map Raven Rock you will have to defeat maybe 6 guards outside. After defeating them you can trade your loot to Henry Casdin for stimpacks and other items.
