WoW Warrior Tank: Leveling Your WoW Warrior Tank (Level 9 to 10)
If you are rushed by more than 2, you will most certainly die. The only downfall to this strategy is you must wait for them to respawn after they are killed. However, if you continue to run around the camp you will notice one waiting for you each and every time. As a level 8 working towards level 9 this is the best solo strategy we know. If for whatever reason you feel as though this is too difficult then skip over it until you can take on three or four of them at a time. Then again, if you decide to stick it out you will gain 850XP.
Skipping Wanted: Hogger and Finding Deputy Thomas
You have probably seen that this quest has a suggested 11+ next to it, which means you will want to pass on it right now. Since the only thing that Deputy Rainer has left to give you is this one, it would be in your best interest to hit up Deputy Thomas and complete the Further Concerns quest. You can find him at the bridge that takes you to the Eastvale Logging Camp. Once you complete the quest and receive 420XP, you will be asked to find two lost guards. This is another suggested level 10 quest, so think about whether or not it is for you. If it is then keep reading.
The Two Lost Guards
Anyone who has played World of Warcraft knows how annoying the Murlocs can be. Unfortunately you will have to encounter several of them with your WoW Warrior Tank as you work your way towards the lost guards. While you may enjoy spending hours playing this game, it's boring when you spend all those hours in the same location. This being said, make sure you have all the training abilities in your action bar. If you haven't been worrying about it much you will want to use your hearthstone and go back to Northshire Abbey to get them.
The trick to The Two Lost Guards is to die on purpose. Yes, it may sound a little strange, but it will make more sense shortly. See, the half-eaten body you find first is only one of the guards. The good news is you will complete this quest easily, but the bad news is you must find the remains of Rolf. These are smack dab in the center of Murloc Village. Getting mobbed is nothing new, but everytime you try and complete this quest 3 or 4 Murlocs will be on your tail.
In order to get rid of this quest once and for all you must kill at least one Murloc out of the four that come towards you. When you become a ghost you will be able to position yourself right over top the remains. Then all you have to do is resurrect yourself and quickly examine them. Sure, you may get hit even while you're completing the quest, but it will be well worth the death. After you die just use the Spirit Healer to help revive you. This will place you right near Guard Thomas to tell him all about your expedition. You will only gain 210XP, but you will enjoy a new quest called Deliver Thomas Report.
Reaching Level 9 (4500XP)
Okay, so if you took our advice your armor is a disaster and you are supposed to head back to Goldshire. This is exactly what you want to do because the time has come for you to reach level 9. Simply make your way back to Marshal Dughan and complete the Deliver Thomas Report quest. You will receive 1050XP and that all important level before hitting number 10. While you're there, take advantage of the Blacksmithing and Armorer area to repair all damage.
Making Strides Towards Level 10 (5400XP)
So now that you have leveled up, repaired your armor and gained a couple new quests, it's time to put them into action. Your WoW Warrior Tank is a toon to be reckoned with so don't waste anytime making your way to Sara Timberlain and completing the Cloth and Leather Armour quest. However, you can complete half of the Protect the Frontier quest that Guard Thomas gave you. There are 5 Bears about 200 yards away from Marshal Dughan that will be easy to dispose of before heading towards Miss Timberlain.
The 210XP you will receive definitely isn't exciting, but it just adds to the four bars you already have filled to this point. She will give you an additional quest (Red Linen Goods), but you can wait to complete this one. Right now you should be about 119 yards away from completing the second half of the Protect the Frontier quest. Definitely do this first before getting the 6 Bandanas needed to complete the Red Linen Goods quest.
In fact, if you were smart enough to pick up the other quest that Guard Thomas offered up on your way to Sara Timberlain (Bounty on Murlocs), then you can complete them both before returning to him. The Protect the Frontier quest will give you 625XP and the Bounty on Murlocs quest will add an additional 850XP. However, if you're really smart you can finish the Red Linen Goods quest while heading back to Guard Thomas. Then simply make your way to Sara Timberlain and collect your 775XP. Congratulations, you have reached level 10 and earned an achievement as well.
