Arabian Nights Make The Perfect Holiday

Asked to write an article on car hire UAE, I couldn't think of any reason anyone would want to go there! My image of this place was where you couldn't consume alcohol and there was every chance you might be asked to sell your children. That said, after last night's little teenage tantrum, that last bit doesn't sound like such a bad idea.

I did some research into the United Arab Emirates and it seems I have many misconceptions about this place. Now I want a holiday!

One of my hobbies is scuba diving and it seems the there are many sites in the waters surrounding the UAE that are simply perfect. With a sub-tropical climate, largely British speaking population and some of the best beaches in the world, why not use car hire UAE and travel around, soaking up as much of this place as possible?

There are dive sites around the coast with marine life and corals that are often unseen anywhere else. Use car hire UAE to move further along the coast and install yourself at the one of the many sites where you can dive shipwrecks.

If diving is not your thing, but you love lounging on white beaches and turquoise seas for your relaxation, pick any of the hotels along the coast where you will be able to drink by the pool. Yes, I said drink, as in the alcoholic type! That proves me wrong.

The Arabs know exactly how to look after visitors to their country. After all, they live in one of the richest countries in the world due to the fact that they own such a large proportion of the world's oil. However, it would definitely seem that they plough this money back into their country through real estate, tourism and trading.

Everything the Arabs do is done in exquisite style. The UAE is the centre of major events from The Dubai World Cup - the world's richest horserace, International Jewellery Exhibition, amazing air show or their own Grand Prix. Using car hire UAE will get you around to all their various festivals and celebrations that are done with taste and colour and are full of life.

Of course, out of respect for the locals, certain rules should be observed when travelling around this largely Muslim country. Regular Western dress is normally ok but women should avoid low cut tops of shorts. Alcohol IS served in bars and clubs. Nightlife for tourists is something the Arabs pride themselves on and you will find yourself spoilt for choice when it comes to evening entertainment.

For couples looking for a holiday destination, they would be well advised to take a trip via car hire UAE. For architect lovers, the cities are hugely popular. With modern, high tech buildings that will astound and amaze, there are also many beautifully crafted mosques and museums to visit.

For the ladies, there are unlimited shopping opportunities in boutiques and modern, air conditioned stores. Just keep in mind that most shops will shut for two hours during the hottest part of the day. Make this the perfect time to be relaxing by your hotel pool.

If modern is not quite what you're looking for, or you just don't want to go all that way without experiencing some of the customs and life of the real Arabian world, take a trip in your car hire UAE to Bastakiya. This is true Dubai - old style. Narrow streets and traditional courtyard houses are interspersed with souks where you can buy traditional products. Just be aware that it is better to use cash to avoid the risk of credit card fraud.

The UAE is a true family holiday destination with theme parks, zoo's and water parks galore. Children are made to feel welcome (not purchased!) and all reports say they have had a fun-filled exciting holiday.

As far as food is concerned, there is a restaurant to suit every possible palate. From traditional Arabian food to Maccie D's, all taste buds are catered for.

It would seem that far from being a backward place with strict rules, car hire UAE must be one of the most perfect holidays you and your loved ones could experience.
