Why Rent a Resort Villa in Florida

Last year we rented a villa on the solana resort estate in Davenport, which was about 10-15 minutes away from all the major attractions. The resort offers so much more compared to other villas, I have detailed what I feel are the major benefits of renting on a resort style complex.

One of the highlights of the resort was a fabulous state of the art clubhouse with its resort size heated pool and spa, surrounded by palm trees this really was a fantastic place to relax and unwind. As the pool is for residents only we often had the entire pool to ourselves, fantastic. I would only expect to find a facility like this in a top hotel resort.

By staying on the resort we got to enjoy living the Florida lifestyle, without the constraints of a hotel environment. Solana resort offered us much more, because it offered all the best bits of hotel resort living as well!

Next to the resort pool was a picnic area with delightful wooden furniture and barbecues so we used to take our lunch and BBQ food down to the pool and have lunch while watching the fabulous sunsets that florida so often enjoys.

keeeping the kids occupied was never difficult,when they were not racing around the parks they would often be found playing mini golf, football, volleyball or just having fun in the pool.

Inside the clubhouse is fully air-conditioned and there is wonderful lounge with a large screen which always had the film of the day showing, this was a great hit with the kids on the occasional lazy day. Also there is a internet cafe where you can use the PC's to contact your friend's back home in order to tell them what a wonderful time you are having.
My son's favourite place was the arcade games room where there is plenty of both popular modern arcade games along with more traditional games like hockey and pinball machines.

The best thing for me about the resort is the gated community, it is the perfect place to come back to after a hectic time at the parks. You can relax, or if you or the kids still have some energy you can dive right into the resort pool or perhaps play mini golf.
If you are feeling really energetic there is always the gym as well which was equipped with a treadmill, rower, bikes and a state of the art weights machine. The resort facilities are for residents only; we were issued with a pass at the start of the holiday which enabled us as residents to use the facilities at any time.

The resort was ideally suited for all the central Florida attractions. Only 15 minutes from Disney and close to all the other major theme parks like Universal, Seaworld, Wet 'n Wild and Discovery Cove. The Space Coast and Kennedy Space Center visitors complex are only about an hour away and the fabulous beaches of the Gulf Coast just over an hours drive but well worth the while as Clearwaters has magical beaches.

If its a day round the shops you are after we found that Solana resort was perfectly located. So you won't be amazed to here that there are several outlet malls of the Florida highway. The main Florida Mall is also only a short drive away, so its not far to travel to treat yourself to some amazing bargains.

If you have children with you, then one of the great advantages of Solana Resort is the safety and security it offers. As it is a gated community there is no through traffic and the facilities are exclusively for the use of villa owners and their guests. This allowed our children to mix with other kids by the resort pool, games room or play areas while we sunbathed by the resort pool. This is one of the many advantages of renting a villa in this dedicated resort community.

The villa we rented was equipped to a high standard offering full air-conditioned, private pool, a complete range of kitchens amenities, games room, games equipment and electronic games, DVD's, CDs etc. The villa had everything you could wish from.

Solana Resort offers a huge selection of luxurious vacation homes to rent and is one of the newest gated resort communities on the Orlando area.
