A holiday cottage in Cornwall by the sea is a very popular family holiday with the holiday makers using the cottage as a base to explore the local area. They can swim in the sea, surf and even fish during the day and then return to their holiday cottage at night to relax. Many holiday cottages in Devon have fabulous views out over the sea.

Devon has perhaps the best examples of a typical English Country Cottage. Many people associate an English Country Cottage in Devon with cream teas and warm lazy summer afternoons in the countryside.
