Visit your family and spend time with them more, hangout more with your friends and apologize for being such a prick before because you have forgotten them before. Also, don't forget to thank them for always being there for you especially during your hard breakup.
Of course, this does not mean that you will only visit and hangout with these special people when you are single. Never ever make that mistake ever again, do not take them for granted as these people - unlike love relationships, have stood the test of time and they will never ever leave you as long as you don't push them out of your life.
Finally finding The One: once you have been able to work out your relationship with yourself and your relationships with your family and friends, then it is safe to say that you are now ready for a new relationship. However, finding The One is definitely quite a challenge so what should you do?
Well, nothing really. Never stress over such things, love will always find away to find you especially when you least expect it. However, do be open to dating different kinds of people, do not just stick to a certain type. Just treat this as a new way of socializing.
You can even try out online dating if you want - just make sure that you stay safe and not divulge too much personal information to the people there. However, do not lie nor exaggerate things about yourself either as that won't be fair.
Again, treat this lightly and if by any stroke of good luck you meet someone whom you have good chemistry with then that's the time to think about dating in a more serious level.
