Do Not Screw This Up! How To (Not) Talk To Your Ex After a Breakup

You have just broken up with your ex, and if you are like most, are scratching your head thinking of the best lines and ways to get talking with them again.

But did you know that the way you are acting now might actually be driving your ex away?

The way most people act after a breakup actually does more harm than good when it comes to getting your ex back.

Let us take a look at one of the most common ways people screw it up - and how you can avoid this deadly mistake!

HERE IS THE PROBLEM EXPOSED

Bugging the living mess out of their ex. This is the number one thing that most people are guilty of after a breakup in which they want desperately back in.

The whole reason your ex separated from you was to get some space. So go ahead, give your ex the space they want. By giving space now, it will turn your hope of getting back together into a reality.

Understand that a breakup does not have to mean your relationship is over for good. A breakup is your opportunity to show your ex that you can handle things in a mature and respectful manner.

Now the ball is in your court. The way you play the ball this day forward will determine if your breakup is permanent or temporary.

There is nothing worse you can do than keep on bugging your ex! Why? Well read on...

For starters, it makes you look needy and desperate. Needy people are a drain on others. And I am sure the last thing you want to do is be a drain on your ex.

Showing desperation and neediness will do the exact opposite of what you intend. In the eyes of your ex, you will start to look like a real loser. This is especially true for men, but needless to say, it still applies to women, too.

When you bug your ex, you are also getting in the way of the laws of Mother Nature - the law of scarcity. You have heard the saying, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder"?

Your ex is likely to miss you at least a little. That is when you want to hope that they start to have some second thoughts. There is no doubt about it - giving your ex distance now will work in your favour.

Your ex will likely miss you a little if only you give them the chance. But nobody will miss you if you are trying to hang around them like a bad smell, calling and stalking! In fact, your ex will probably just start wishing you would disappear off the face of the earth!

So be warned. If you want to ruin all chances of reconciliation, then bug the hell out of your ex.

Your ex broke up to get away from you. They may then discover after a short time that a breakup was not really what they wanted - they just needed some time away. But if you keep bugging them, then not only will they not get that chance to realize how much they really do miss you - you will actually just drive them further away!

AND THE SOLUTION IS SIMPLE

Play it cool. Do not keep calling, texting, or emailing your ex. Even once a day is too much. In fact, ANY amount is too much. Just do not do it.

Emotionally, this can be hard at first. But in another way, it is the easiest thing in the world. All it requires is that you do not do a thing! What could be easier than that?

Yes, as strange as it may sound, the best way to talk to your ex after a breakup is simply not to talk to them! That may sound a little backwards to some. But it is step one of a tried and true method that is virtually guaranteed to get your ex back into your life for good!
